Take heart I have overcome the world.
Since the fall in the Garden of Eden and the first Adam’s sin we have been told that in this world we will all have trouble.
Being a Christian does not give us a charmed life in that respect we are all equally affected but as a Christian we are wise to the enemy and we believe that God has over come.
That Jesus, the second Adam has already overcome at the cross and resurrection and that He will come again in due time and He is our Hope in this present time.
Meanwhile I believe people are being drawn to seek out God, faith and their place in this world and life at this time.
That God is calling to many and there is a greater awareness, spirituality and need deeply sat in many individuals, a readiness to hear communicate in prayer and recognise God.
There has never been such a time as now where the church especially and many others are Coming together to serve and love in our communities.
It is my belief that we are being positioned for a miracle.
Miracles may take many ingredients some of which on their own are not very savoury or palatable but blended together in just the right proportions are beautiful and good.
It may be that some of the calamities arising from a broken world and bitter in themselves give rise to a beautiful aroma and taste when complemented by the blessings and opposite.
They then point us to God’s glory and our salvation.
God’s ways explained in any other way or words would be out of our understanding but experienced never forgotten and understood exactly.
Much like the mystery of child birth to the new first time mother words will never describe it only the experience.
The illustration is God the creator has the whole world in His hands but He embraces it as a loving Father who wants it to be as He planned it and He will protect it and us until that time comes.
We can be assured that He will not let the Fallen world fall from His grasp.
Two bible verses that come to mind:
Jeremiah 29:11-14 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile
Isaiah 26:3-4 – You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
