The church in many areas has been part of an initiative called ‘Love Your Neighbour’, a help force bringing Tragedy to Triumph for many during Coronavirus. Helping the vulnerable and those experiencing poverty and difficulties.
Generosity of soul being exhibited in gifts of funding , time and effort. A standing together as an army to thrive in the face of adversity and loss and to advance pushing the enemy back with the miracles needed to survive.
God honours generosity and multiplies it. The success of such schemes bringing witness and light into what for many could be dark times.
We catch snatches of mind blowing figures attributed to subsidies for this and the other in the economy and sense an underlying fear in the world of where it is all coming from because our only bench mark is what has been the case in the past.
For the first time it dawned on me, listening to some of what the Governor of the Bank of England, Andrew Bailey’s comments that the V shaped decline and hoped for incline out of recession could be achievable.
Seemingly because the banks can take on the debts safely this time because of its more stable lack of risk from Extortionate interest percentages that, historically last recession, were the spanner in the works and the down fall.
They can afford to take the burden and wait longer for the pay back. It made sense to me and gave me light to a path which previously had not been illuminated.
I hope I understood it right but it was sufficient for me to put some faith and hope into this.
I pray too that what man cannot do on his own God can and we can petition Him to make the breakthrough because it is His heart for there to not be suffering or poverty, for there to be plenty and more left over.
I pray for the miracle, I believe for the V shaped bounce back. I pray for a quick addressing of poverty and economy.
I equally have faith in the tide turning on coronavirus and that God has the breakthrough for that obstacle, the control of Covid 19, for the season of fear to be past.
Deliverance from what the enemy has sent. We will not run but stride right on and face it and succeed.
We are the hands and feet of Jesus making the difference throughout this crisis each in our own small way but accumulatively significant.
We are people of faith with a belief in what God can do. A belief in Jesus and how our sins have been redeemed and ransomed by the cross.
We have the evidence that Jesus gave us the authority to do what he has done. Especially to speak to the storm and the mountain and to sleep in His peace knowing it will be done.
We are people of faith and hope. There will be breakthrough.
The illustration is to stride on taking giant steps, fearlessly in the knowledge that Jesus has bridged the gap between us and God. He has instructed and commissioned and enabled us to do as He has done in the world and to go boldly, unafraid.
Two scriptures which come to mind:
Forget what is behind and strain towards what is ahead. I press on towards the goal loving the prize for which God has called me heavenwards. Phil 3 v 13
When we confess He forgives us and has removed our sin as far as the east is from the west. Psalm 183 v12

In this world when so much seems out of our control what we can indeed do is keep walking forward with love and kindness x
