God hides the pieces!
I get the sense that as we go through life’s journey bits of the picture come together like a Giant jigsaw.
There are times when several parts all fall into place at the same time. Others where a couple of large constructed areas suddenly link together and make big headway in the evolving picture.
Sometimes things connect quite by accident but others where, look as you may, the pieces just don’t seem to be there. It’s as if some pieces are either missing or hidden.
I’m sure God conceals some things from us until just the right time when their discovery will have the biggest impact.
Perhaps racism has been a part of the picture for a long time but only now as Globally we have all shared a pandemic which has shifted our gaze from differences and united us in where our help comes from.
Has He also shown us an area of the picture that He is not happy with.
An are that angers Him and the justice that He is.
Perhaps we too have opened our eyes to what is in plain sight but has not been registering. Parts of the jigsaw were hidden until just the right time to bring them into play to fit together and see both beauty and ugly sitting together and needing our attention.
The legacy of injustice affects many generations preventing integration in our human race. That which causes the greatest pain can occasionally be the transformation to bring the greatest gain.
Just as finding one piece in a jigsaw can link together huge lumps and accelerate the completion of the image at a significant pace so perhaps can this act that has Exploded, been like a Bomb in many peoples hearts, become a catalyst of change.
Silence causes distance and wounds never heal at a distance. After so much endurance during Coronavirus perhaps now is a wound too much to be silent upon.
The illustration again uses the symbolism of hope in the rainbow. Of the Spiritual need of the Spectrum. The missing pieces can relate individually in our Spiritual journey of revelation where Gods timing to find the piece at the exact right time and place and to seemingly hide it until that time. Or Globally the piece to be played can also be at exactly the right point too,
The two scriptures that come to mind are:
“and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near.”Ephesians 2:16-17 ESV
“and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”Ephesians 3:9-10 ESV

Just read 51 – Jigsaw again.
Life is definitely like that!!
There are times it feels like I’m standing in an empty space and can not even see the edges of the other pieces, a huge cavern. And then next thing you know, you’re on top of the world basking in His glorious colours.
How apt the analogy is, life is like a jigsaw puzzle, we shall never work it out. But we have a redeemer who has already.
