Comfort in the Truth
The image of Jesus strength to carry me up high on His shoulders
There is a vacuum in the world left by the space that was filled with what for some part we begin to see as futile and unnecessary.
It would be wasted experience to fill it with what was if we have discovered that to be valueless.
It would be wise to fill it with Truth.
God’s word is truth.
Jesus is truth.
Lies have obscured that. There is no greater divider than Satan and no greater unifier than God.
It is God’s unity, wisdom and truth that we need to be raising up for now and as space is created filling it with that.
Do we feel powerless , too small, too weak, ineffectual ?
That is exactly where we can be our strongest because at last we may call upon the Lord in our desperation and that prayer He will always hear first.
He is the good Shepherd who hears our cry of distress and places us on His shoulder out of harms way and rescues us.
He knows when we cannot go on and He carries us.
He searches for us if we are spinning in circles and lost.
He speaks to us with reassurance.
He leaps the mountains we cannot even see over.
He elevates us and gives us confidence.
He protects us from every enemy.
He keeps us safe.
What a blessing to be weak and held safe in His strength.
The illustration was inspired by the Good Shepherd with the lamb on His shoulder but instead it is us.
The image of Jesus strength to carry us up high on His shoulders.
The topical bubble representative of protection surrounds us in the safest possible bubble to be isolated in.
Jesus is Love and Truth.
Our Light, Way and Salvation
Three scriptures that come to mind:
“But he replied, “My gift of undeserved grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So if Christ keeps giving me his power, I will gladly brag about how weak I am.”2 Corinthians 12:9 CEV
“When he has led out all of his sheep, he walks in front of them, and they follow, because they know his voice.
A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so everyone would have life, and have it fully. I am the good shepherd, and the good shepherd gives up his life for his sheep.”John 10:4, 10-11 CEV
