Your shadow is bigger than you are what is it doing?
We have the company and the presence of the Holy Spirit within us all day long.
Jesus’ presence.
What are we doing with it?
We have the permission to be who God has called us to be His kingdom is here in the here and now on earth if we allow it to be.
We pray it every day. Your kingdom come. Your will be done.
Jesus abides in us as therefore so does His kingdom but for the doing.
We carry it within us .
It’s shadow should be casting long upon the earth falling on the world and transforming it.
There is testimony that Jesus could heal people who were touched by Paul’s shadow alone.
We are like the gate keepers releasing Jesus and His Kingdom into the world. Or transversely drawing the world into it.
Biblically kingdoms had walls surrounding them to keep the enemy out and the kingdom safe. Guarded by gates and gate keepers.
Jesus as always has a Kingdom that turns that upside down and inside out.
He invites us in and for us to proclaim and welcome others.
More so He does not segregate and only allow the already perfect in.
Otherwise His kingdom would be empty as we all fall short.
His kingdom is inclusive and for all along with His commission for those who find Him to tell all the world and invite them also.
Faith and belief is the only requisite for the King of Kings to share His abode.
We could do nothing of ourselves but He in us casts a big shadow that encompasses and gives power to all who come within it.
The illustration shows that long cast shadow of the Spirit filled child of God.
There as guidance, protection, presence but also it is to be seen, observed, felt and known by others we meet.
Not always seen by us as we cast it but always by those around us.
May Gods Kingdom be spread wide and far.
Reaching all the corners of the earth.
We need not wait for Death and heaven to be welcomed in the Kingdom.
Two scriptures that come to mind:
“Jesus answered, “My kingdom doesn’t belong to this world. If it did, my followers would have fought to keep me from being handed over to our leaders. No, my kingdom doesn’t belong to this world.””
John 18:36 CEV
Some Pharisees asked Jesus when God’s kingdom would come. He answered, “God’s kingdom isn’t something you can see. There is no use saying, ‘Look! Here it is’ or ‘Look! There it is.’ God’s kingdom is here with you.””Luke 17:20-21 CEV
