There are things that we Might beg for in prayer.
It is child like faith that can say why wouldn’t God answer?
There is trust in a child that as adults we sometimes forget.
It is my belief that what we hope for will be given but it is my experience that sometimes that hope may be deferred or the answer may not look like what we were expecting but in fact is more apt and appropriate than we could ever imagine.
Never give up.
Live in a place of hope.
It is also my experience that it is never good to dwell in lack but to be lifted by giving praise and thanks for multiple blessings already received in what was laid out before time began.
When we recall the Joseph the dreamer story the Supernatural vision he saw of his future took a life time of being fulfilled and in the natural the reality of day to day was sometimes far removed.
Sometimes we step right into the hope and promise and vision we pray for.
Sometimes an amazingly constructed web of circumstances and bridge builders transport us there.
There is no time or distance in the Holy Spirit.
Returning to the Joseph story it was the sinful action of the jealous brothers that took him away from home to serve at the palace.
It was the sinful action of Potiffar’s wife that got him in prison where he interpreted others dreams including the cupbearers who then acted like a bridge builder recommending him to interpret the Kings dreams and so on .
The Joseph story is well worth a read, in Genesis, to pick out the consequences that lead eventually to that boy Joseph’s first vision hope coming to pass and becoming reality, not Immediately but in God’s unique timing.
Nothing is a coincidence, it is, to steal a Jan Holt word, a Godincidence, part of a plan.
It is sometimes in hindsight that we see how God has ministered to us.
Has prophesied or given us a vision.
Has steered and guided us into that place in His way.
God answers prayers.
He delivers us from our battles and provides a way.
Unbelief can steal our promises.
Don’t give up.
The Illustration Depicts an angel steering our sights always to God, to Jesus, to the right way and shielding us from harm.
The bible mentions angels 273 times and refers to there being myriads in the angelic realm.
Biblically they belong to the Spiritual supernatural realm but it is clear that we must not fall into new age beliefs and practices.
We must be mindful and dismissive of the new age occult mind set of angels.
Our relationship and prayers must be directed only to the Trinity.
To God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Two scriptures that come to mind:
“My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!”Psalm 139:15-17 ESV
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation.”Hebrews 11:1-2 ESV
