BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS 75 ( Less is Greater, Greater is less ).

‘By myself I can do nothing’

These were Jesus’ words about Himself while he was man.

Jesus had emptied Himself to be born in human form.

Throughout His ministry we are told that He regularly withdrew to be with the Father and to down load from Him as He recognised His weakness and that as man He could do nothing.

We can observe this role model because Jesus, as Christ in heaven, has regained His God head and has said to us

‘If you have seen Me you have seen the Father.

He told His disciples that when He goes it means they no longer could ask Him for anything as they used to but says

‘My Father will give whatever you ask in My Name.’

‘Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete.‘

I understand that to be, He will be doing the praying, interceding for us and through us.

There is an intimacy in the belief that Christ is within us for us to down load from in the same way as He did, as a man, from His Father.

We have no need to pray in our words and strength because Christ is within us and if we listen and tune in to the words on His lips and make them ours then we will be praying in Jesus, in His name.

The actual words we frequently end a prayer with ‘ in the name of Jesus’ are more in Jesus because we’ve called upon Him and He has spoken.

He is the ‘Yes ‘ and ‘Amen ‘.

Jesus is then at the heart of every prayer because we have called Him.

It is as if He is in the situation and on earth as he was.

We have nothing but Jesus and what we have we can give to others by calling on Him.

Jesus has the power to do and we have been obedient to call upon His name and to do what we hear Him say to do.

We would be crazy to have Christ in us and not to call Him to do what only He can do.

We would be crazy to try to take over .

We do not know how to pray ourselves The Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to the will of God.

Ours is the job of calling on Jesus and down loading and speaking what we hear on His lips in the moment. Confirming we pray in Jesus’ name always.

Jesus as man said ‘By myself I can do nothing.

‘We now say equally ‘ By myself I can do nothing’

The illustration shows Jesus lips and we as the child bent and pressed in close to hear what He imparts and to be ready to obey.

Having called on His name to be but the conduit and bridge for His saving, healing, releasing , setting free here on earth as it is in His Kingdom.

Three scriptures that come to mind:

“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.”‭‭John‬ ‭5:30‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I apologise for the advertisements that I have discovered get added to the blogs I publish. They have nothing to do with me and should be totally ignored. I have made a complaint and await to see if this is addressed.
