When you fully embrace Jesus your Father embraces you.
Walking with Jesus effects how we walk with each other.
Hearing God’s voice hinges around relationship.
Recognising presence and voice.
The more we love someone the more we are fine tuned into recognising them and their voice above all others. Why, because we have troubled ourselves to spend time with them and to have taken notice of their every trait and sound.
God is always speaking but we are sometimes just not tuned into the frequency all the time.
Just like Moses who had to stop and turn aside to look at the burning bush. In stopping and giving it his attention then he heard God’s voice speaking to him.
We too have to stop long enough to give Him some attention initially. God is there hanging over the edge of heaven constantly trying to get our attention.
He is patient and sometimes has to wait endlessly for our attention.
The lack of hearing Him is always ours, not His.
God is always speaking, hard to keep up with, so much love. We are His priority. He is not always ours.
Our relationship grows from spending time together. Without hearing His voice we can be in hell on earth.
The more tuned in the more we constantly hear it even without stopping, even in business we are subconsciously tuned in and hear it.
We have a longing to hear more and more and to have dialogue with.
God has spoken all things in Jesus already.
The voice of Jesus is known already brought audibly through the Holy Spirit and visually through the word, the bible which is the heart of God printed on paper.
Gods voice comes out of His face, presence, just as ours does.
By watching the face we do not miss out on when someone speaks, likewise with God.
Jesus said: “My sheep know my voice and I know them and they follow me”“I am the bread of life”
For Spiritual health it takes habitual feeding, discipline and diligence. We loose our joy and our peace when we become either separated or without sustenance.
Sin or neglect obscures and obstructs and begins to destroy our sense of joy or peace.
We need to become trained to quickly sense this loss of well being with our soul because in recognising the absence we can be alerted to stopping and turning and obeying and regaining.
He draws near to those who have drawn near to Him.
The relationship is regained.
The soul again knows joy and peace.
The illustration is of being embraced by God and Jesus. Our gaze and arms held up as a child to a Father to be embraced in love.
Four scriptures that come to mind:
“My own sheep will hear my voice and I know each one, and they will follow me.”John 10:27 TPT
“Bread alone will not satisfy, but true life is found in every word, which constantly goes forth from God’s mouth.””Matthew 4:4 TPT
“Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life. Come every day to me and you will never be hungry. Believe in me and you will never be thirsty.”John 6:35 TPT
But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, or of the will of the flesh, or of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13
