Jesus King of Kings.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
We cannot do the kingdom work without the King.
We cannot bring the kingdom of God to earth by our own efforts.
Only by an in dwelling encounter with the Holy Spirit. It is not just about our own efforts however worthy they may seem.
We can expect to have a power and authority. Our faith is never just private and personal it has the purpose for a public reality.
Our Social action must not just exist however, in what we can do in our own effort it has to be endorsed by supernatural power and the miraculous.
Social and salvation gospels are only partial. Spiritual and supernatural are the completion of what Jesus brought into the kingdom.
We cannot look to ourselves to be the answer but equally we cannot look to any other power to be the answer.
The Kingdom of God shall be above all other.
Under the rulership of Jesus.
All other powers and systems will bow to this authority only.
Jesus is the answer.
The one to be looked to for the answer to all we endure.
If there was a modern day prophet equivalent of John The Baptist Wondering the present day wilderness he would be shouting for us to repent of depending on and seeking answers from the systems of the world such as: political, organised religion, education, entertainment, economic, nations.
God will axe these governments down at their roots and as the temporal draws nearer to its close the eternal, a new nation from heaven, the kingdom of Jesus continues into the future.
To become part of it we have to untangle ourselves from those other allegiances operating on worldly wisdom and align our allegiance to the wisdom that comes from Christ.
Come out of the darkness of the world into the light of the kingdom.
Historically when the world was looking for the birth of a new king they expected him to be born in a palace. Not to come on a donkey and be born in a stable.
Expecting now comfort and cosy for Christian is as alien an idea.
God has raised us as warriors for spiritual warfare to rid the world of darkness and bring light to every corner just by being the holy righteous people He created us to be in His kingdom.
There is a clashing of kingdoms as we are Aligning with Jesus and not the world. The curtain is being drawn back and is exposing what the enemy has been orchestrating.
Just as the early disciples were seen as dangerous to the early world rulers and authorities, it is now our turn to be wild warriors of the principalities in today’s world.
Jesus Christ is the only one to save His people and He is already victorious.
