BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 138 (Less is Greater, Greater is less ).

Jesus gets rid of the crowd.

Some things can only be discovered in moments of aloneness.

Scripturally we see times where Jesus escaped the crowds, the big gatherings, to be alone or with a select few.

To be alone was to be with His Father.

To listen and to share.

To focus on an audience of one to be upheld and strengthened.

To become refilled.

We see this when after feeding the 5,000 Jesus sends His disciples to cross the lake and they struggle against the wind. He goes up the hills to be alone.

Those in the boat were feeling alone in their struggle without Jesus.

When we are positioned in a place of opposition or lack of understanding.

A place some of us will feel currently familiar with.

We may not recognise Jesus even when we see Him as He appears to be doing something impossible.

Jesus coming to them walking on the water was outside their experience, He was doing something supernaturally.

Unexpected and seemingly impossible.

Jesus’ words are “Be brave and don’t be afraid. I am here!”and to Peter “Come and join me,”

For some of us The Lord’s instruction is simply to battle against fear.

To take hold of that spirit of fear within us, cast it out and declare Jesus as Lord and rest in His familiar presence.

For some of us The Lords instruction is more one of putting faith to the test in action.

Of walking with Him in doing what in the natural is impossible but in His strength and realm is possible to accomplish.

Take courage!

The crossing in the darkness and opposition had seemed longer than it physically should have been for the disciples but now:

A new morning approached, a new horizon, a new day and hope.

For many of us our prayers are being answered.

We have prayed for a move of God in this fallen world.

That inevitably will invoke a clash of Kingdoms.

Jesus Christ is Lord of God’s kingdom already and He is moving to reign over what the enemy has had dominion over in the world.

It is the enemy who is becoming increasingly fearful as what he meant for evil God is turning for good.

Our pivotal point right now.

Where God has already shown us how His plan of salvation at the work of the cross has outworked to create in us as individuals that we were created to be forgiven.

He is now addressing a sin problem and of how unrighteous we and the world are before a righteous King.

Jesus is Lord and is already in charge.

He has Lordship and is all power and authority.

We, submitting to Him in reverential awe and wonder, must be clothed in Him.

Therefore in His righteousness also.

We know God is Love and that will never change.

Perhaps we need to know more clearly Jesus Christ is Lord.

The illustration shows that God has already gifted to the world the means of Hope and of Overcoming.

Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit.

Four scriptures that come to mind:

“Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and lifted him up and said, “What little faith you have! Why would you let doubt win?” And the very moment they both stepped into the boat, the raging wind ceased.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14:31-32‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“the people living there quickly recognise who he was. They were quick to spread the news throughout the surrounding region that Jesus had come to them.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14:35‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“But keep your hope to the end and you will experience life and deliverance.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:13‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“For this will be a time of great misery beyond the magnitude of anything the world has ever seen or ever will see. Unless God limited those days, no one would escape. But because of his love for those chosen to be his, he will shorten that time of trouble.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:21-22‬ ‭TPT‬‬
