We as the body of the church, the Ekklesia are not being called to transform the world.
We are being called to BE radically transformed and to bring communities to us.
His strategy is not to fix the world as it is but to plant a new Ekklesia community in the middle to woo and draw the world to us.
We are not responsible for making the world a better place.
We are responsible for being the better place that the world wants to be part of.
It is not all about law changes.
It is about Lord changes.
Church has been paused, reset and transformed. Whilst more eyes are on us in this time of need and seeking.
We are called to be set apart.
Be different.
Not just a good version of the darker world but to be set apart.
‘ He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world ‘
We need to be a provocation to the world by living differently.
By modelling love, modelling forgiveness, modelling restoration, modelling wholeness, modelling redemption, modelling deliverance in the community.
Be a totally unapologetic people of Christ bringing life into the community with the fragrance of God all over it.
A purity clearly spoken out loud into being. In a language which is not tepid, diluted, trying to blend in.
Unmistakably totally that of the kingdom.
Christian vocabulary giving the Jesus like authority to what we speak.
True to scripture and distinguishable from the world and man’s diluted half truths perfected by the enemy.
Words that compel us towards the power of God.
Not dressed down or dressed up to make them more palatable.
Not a played down, non compelling, world version but an honest Ekklesia that has its own attractive quality of creating.
A new community.
Heaven on earth.
Jesus’ Kingdom .
God says ‘ The world needs to run to me through you. ‘
Arise Ekklesia now is the time to stand United in the anointing and power bestowed upon us and be saying :
‘Here I am send me.’
The illustration shows the world covered, net worked by church with arms flung open in love welcome and refuge. The light in the darkness that the world runs towards and becomes united with.
