God loves me.
Decree this truth over your life every day.
Use the mind of God to transform your mind especially at moments when we feel under attack.
‘for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. ‘
God created us and saw our lives before Him.
He saw the good the bad and the ugly of us but still spoke these words of truth.
We are truly His children who He loves.
There is no spirit of fear in us.
Speak that over our life each day.
We know fear comes from the enemy and we can choose not to engage with it.
To overcome it with God’s word, ‘ fear not’.
Jesus is known for turning tables.
He flipped over the tables representative of sin in the temple.
In other words he turned the tables on the enemy and He can do this in every attack Satan may try upon us.
Jesus power and authority is always greater.
When Scripture tells us to put on the armour of God we know that really we are just standing protected in what Jesus has already provided by His blood on the cross.
We have no striving to combat.
We just stand in the knowledge and truth.
Our identity is in Christ and therefore we are worthy.
With confidence we can say ‘shut up devil’ whenever his deceit tries to undermine that worth.
Even times when we get it wrong we know we can repent immediately and that forgiveness is ours.
We can turn around and walk in righteousness and at peace.
Jesus turns the tables on Satan every time.
The illustration shows Jesus watching and Jesus reaching forwards to turn the tables.
To turn what is evil into good in the world.
To turn things around in our lives.
Three scriptures that come to mind:
“For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure! And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.”Ephesians 1:4-6 TPT
“Of course, we wouldn’t dare to put ourselves in the same class or compare ourselves with those who rate themselves so highly. They compare themselves to one another and make up their own standards to measure themselves by, and then they judge themselves by their own standards. What self-delusion!”2 Corinthians 10:12 TPT
“John saw Jesus coming to him to be baptized, and John cried out, “Look! There he is—God’s Lamb! He will take away the sins of the world!”John 1:29 TPT
