God’s time is not linear as we have comprehension of it.
His time is more of a swirl, spiral carrying lots of things along together.
Our mentality is to get one season out of the way and move into another whilst His can carry several around in one.
Ours is measured in the here and now of a specific hour, minute and date spaced at regular, measurable intervals.
His can be accelerated or pending all at the same moment within the swirl.
The outcome being there at the same time as the initiation.
Being perceived equally or differently by different observers in different places.
He has the power to abide and wait.
He has the power to halt.
He has the power to turn the tide in a new direction.
He has the power to overturn.
He has the power to change.
We have already had experience of all of these on many levels. Personal, family, church, nations globally.
God is sovereign and has dominion but in some scenarios he allows our choices until such times as stance and change is needed.
Now seems such a time.
As if God is saying “what must I do to get your attention?”
As if God is saying “I am giving you a chance to overthrow what is ungodly”
As if God is saying “turn to my ways and repent of your evil ways.”
The story of Jonah has other prophesies on many levels I know but now has scenarios of such a time as this.
The lockdown period being likened to being swallowed into the stomach of the whale and there finding the motivation, space and time to want to get out of this confinement of stench.
Like Jonah to spend the time of coming to realisation.
To repent of wrong doings.
To give God thanksgiving for His goodness.
To realise His promises and make some of our own,To reform to Gods way.
As iniquity tips out of the bowl of the world on earth so do the prayers and supplications of the Saints that have multiplied in equal measure, tip out from the bowl in heaven and God shows His mercy.
The powers in the heavenly realm are equally shaken and sentence has been served against evil and triumph is restored.
Revival and blessings will prevail.
The illustration shows the swirl of God’s time within the stomach of Jonah’s whale.
An infinite time within and alongside our linear time.
Three scriptures that come to mind:
“The earth was rocked at the sound of his voice from the mountain, but now he has promised, “Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!” Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakeable will remain. Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakeable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe.”Hebrews 12:26-28 TPT
“Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.”Ecclesiastes 8:11 ESV
“And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.”Deuteronomy 8:10 ESV
