BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 151. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less ).

“Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.”

We must not be caught off balance using ideologies, opinions and mans understanding to back our theology on.

This will be like building on quick sand instead of upon rock as a foundation. Walking upon mud instead of the highway.

It is vital for us now more than ever to know and digest the word of God.

We mature and need to chew on meat and ingest with maturity.

To keep the word authentic not adjusted to suite ourselves.

To know all scripture not just the cherry picked portions we want to hear.

There are revelations that come to us as words from God to lighten the way and forewarn.

There is Present Truth where God is revealing what is happening today through experiences and evidence in the past.

The whole of the book of Daniel throws light on where we are in these present times and is very relevant today.

It is healthy to hunger for God’s word as manna for each day to feed us spiritually as regularly as we need to feed physically.

The fruits of the spirit will flourish from the source of God’s word.

Our knowledge of the word will enrich our ability to replicate Him in our lives and to be His ambassadors.

To represent Him well.

The illustration shows the bible as the Word. The spectrum of Holy Spirit above as the inspiration in the writing of and the spectrum beneath as the Holy Spirit in us and the discerning of the truth and revelation within as the reader.

Two scriptures that come to mind.

“Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.”‭‭James‬ ‭3:11-12‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,”‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬
