BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 168 (Less is Greater, Greater is less )

Deadlines. Now is a time for PRAYER.

“Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers?”

Whilst the enemy is all out to keep us in bondage to him now, again there is a sense of God wanting His body, the church, to come all out to combat with their best weapon of PRAYER.

Not only prayers of intercession for Him and His angels to intervene in redeeming us and our land but also in repenting.

I have been particularly looking at Daniel through this season and it occurs to me that he spends a lot of his time in repentance and fasting before the Lord and yet he himself is one of great innocence from sin.

He takes it upon himself to repent for others, kings and nations for their sins and iniquities.

An exemplary role model for us in a world and with governments in such bondage to the enemy.

To stop moaning about them but to PRAY for them.

It’s as if God has reached the judgement time on iniquity that we read about in Joel 3, a vat full to overflowing of our iniquities.

It is His desire that His people will realise that and bring supplication with intent to the only one who has the power and the miracles to turn it around.

To again tip out His cup of mercy and grace over us and draw close with His presence and influence.

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.”

It is as if we are on this brink of what will be next.

God on the edge in anticipation of our actions to trigger His own.

Again back to Daniel.

The writing is on the wall.

We have the warning.

The pivotal place where the decision could be either way

God’s judgement verdict still only pencilled in, still able to be erased and rewritten, still alterable before the seal is approved.

The loving God loving us too greatly for us to be getting it wrong and as a result suffering.

We are being summoned to cry out as Daniel did.

He read the scrolls of Jeremiah and by fasting and praying for forgiveness and mercy he positioned himself for miracles.

Let us do likewise, call out on behalf of our brothers and sisters and our land and position ourselves for miracles of the Holy Spirit.

God knows the plans He has for us.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into.”

The illustration shows the face of God, of Jesus, emerging through the colours of the Holy Spirit to shine upon us and heal our land.

God knows the plans He has for us. We are His children.

He loves, forgives and disciplines as any good Father.

Ours is to listen and try and try gain and always.
To PRAY.
