Pointing the finger.
As a small child we soon learn how to point towards what we want for ourselves.
Wars start when some one or government wants something belonging to someone else. They covet it for themselves.
This undergirds discontent on any level.
We like the outcome of winning , succeeding, that is our goal.
Whereas often God likes the process, the journey.
The blessings that He bestowed upon us bring joy and have no out spills.
They are divine blessing
Those that we toil for with manipulation and manoeuvre often leave a price to pay even a guilt.
There is more of self than Christ driven motivation.
A gift with God’s purpose will benefit many not just bless the one.
Things we do as unto the Lord are governed by Him in our hearts. His value and processing give an authority to all we do.
When we covet what is of another or the world that is void of Christ.
Our own opinions are worthless.
Often not exhibiting the mindset of Christ.
God so loved the world He gave His only Son.Jesus so loved the world He sacrificed His life.
We must love others, the world as the earth and humanity in it in this same mindset to be worthy of blessings, power and authority.
Not to be like the world.
We loose that set apart value if we become indistinguishable from the world
This is why we submit and yield daily to become part of He who is in us.
We open our heart to Him baring our soul and harbouring no secret from Him.
He is all knowing of everything about us but our trusting of our vulnerability to Him and making ourselves transparent breeds His tenderness towards us.
“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
God’s gift of insight and in dwelling word is total intimacy.
A symbiotic relationship.
If something does not move me it will not move Him. Equally, what moves His heart must move mine.
He equips us with what we need to equip others and the world with.
Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and He will exalt you.
God knows what we open up in private with Him and He rewards publicly.
When we seek the kingdom of God He adds the added blessing .
As we see in Solomon being blessed with wisdom to rule well.
God has highly favoured you because of the favour you will bring to others around you.
He sees when all we want is to honour Jesus and be accountable.
Not coveting for self because we are jealous, judgemental, proud, greedy or self promoting.
He has a divine order of blessing progressing from small to greater.
