BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 183. (Less is Greater, Greater is less )

If ever you feel lonely.
There is comfort in the knowledge that there is someone pursuing us to be with us always.
That person is Jesus.

There is comfort in the knowledge that we are never an inconvenience.

There is comfort that He is never preoccupied because something else is pressing and needing attention.

There is comfort in the fact that Jesus enjoys being in my company.
There is comfort in I know I am special.

There is comfort in knowing He was criticised for hanging around those cast as the worst in society, no criteria or status bearing relevance.

There is comfort that He understands my needs and knows exactly how to respond, or comfort me.
There is comfort that He can advise me wisely and give me fresh hope.

There is comfort in the fact that He always welcomes me by pulling me closer however long I have ignored or avoided Him.

There is comfort that I always feel safe with Him.
There is comfort that I can stand with a naked soul before Him with no embarrassment or attempt to cover up or hide.

There is comfort in the knowledge that He is, fixed, stable, steadfast, going nowhere.

He will never exclude me.
He is the one who always knocks and invite me to join Him.
He is the one I do not have to make myself perfect before I meet Him.
He is the one lingering waiting for me to connect or reconnect.

He is the one in whose presence I can be open, myself and always flourish.
He never pushes away or refuses to be my friend.

He is the bullseye.

My centre.

He is the one who keeps His promise.

He satisfies my thirst and hunger.

He heals me and provides.

He fills me with living water and hope.

I am never alone.

I am connected to Jesus.

The illustration shows the bullseye, my centre of Jesus to focus my attention on.

The one to push closer and push away the darkness in my soul.

Four scriptures that come to mind

“Yet when the Son of Man came and went to feasts and drank wine, you said, ‘Look at this Man! He is nothing but a glutton and a drunkard! He spends all his time with tax collectors and other affluent sinners.’ But God’s wisdom will be visibly seen living in those who embrace it.””‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Many dishonest tax collectors and other notorious sinners often gathered around to listen as Jesus taught the people.”‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.””‭‭John‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭ESV‬‬
