We are in a season where God is reminding us of who He is.
In a season where we know more clearly who we have our identity in.
A place where we get over ourselves and become God’s chosen people following Him without hesitation.
A place where the world wants to follow the beauty they see in us because we reflect God’s beauty to them.
We are no longer, as everyone else, thermometers measuring the worlds temperature we are as thermostats setting the temperature.
We are conformed not by the world but by Christ.
The world looks at us and sees something different and desirable something tangibly alive.
Going with the flow can be dangerous .
We become indistinguishable from everyone else.
Even dead fish can go with the flow.
It takes courage and something special to make us go against the flow and become noticed a resistance that helps turn others to a better direction.
To make a difference.
That confidence is birthed in us when we get over ourselves and our own agenda and have instead a fear in the Lord which invests everything in Him.
This is the season God is reminding us He is God.
It dictates our lives differently.
Whether we want to, whether we understand everything, whether we have not had an explanation.
Whether we feel confident or equipped has no consequence.
We just know that we have to show up and obey, give our best and do.
God is our first call never our second choice.
Jesus was the original document given to each of us.
The only precious one.
Our all is the treasure to give in return to be used as desired not on our terms but His.
We need to be free of world restraints, securities, limitations and boundaries.
Free to celebrate our only dependence is on God and submit to Him.
Let go of trying to be in control.
Acknowledge our weakness.
Rely only on God.
God is strong in our weakness.
God just says “I am”.
Moses led the children of Israel on that revelation.
God did not explain Himself any further.
We too can trust in the same two words we don’t have to know from Genesis to Revelations in depth.
Indeed, for some, being too intellectual and analytical leads to paralysis.
God never explains Himself.
He just reveals Himself.
We want to be in control and equipped with resources and in so delay and never do.
We want to know the destination before we set off and therefore never leave or go.
We want to have knowledge of it all explained not just a view of a part.
God just says what have you got in your hand?
He will seldom reveal all.
Then He says Go!
He scans our heart and knows if we will say yes.
He scans the church to find those who say yes.
He provides all we need whilst we are going.
Trains us on the job.
Gives us proficiency as we go.
Gets us out of ourselves and into Himself.
What we leave behind we have no further need of.
Clarity only comes with hindsight as we journey.
This in turn multiplies faith.
Do not wait as waiting too long can cause confusion developing ‘maybe people ‘ and kills your destiny.
God sees His pure light in us.
Show that shine instead of trying to shine to show.
Let’s be set apart to shine by being transformed to His image.
To fear God with no compromise.
The illustration shows God as the burning flame, the light, the fire the same today, yesterday, tomorrow.
Powerful, inextinguishable, light in the darkness pushing out the darkness.
Five scriptures that come to mind.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”Romans 12:2 ESV

“Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed. The Lord works everything together to accomplish his purpose. Even the wicked are included in his plans— he sets them aside for the day of disaster.”Proverbs 16:3-4 TPT
“You can avoid evil through surrendered worship and the fear of God, for the power of his faithful love removes sin’s guilt and grip over you.”Proverbs 16:6 TPT
“Kings and leaders despise wrongdoing, for the true authority to rule and reign is built on a foundation of righteousness.”Proverbs 16:12 TPT
