BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 199 (Less is Greater, Greater is less )

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C.S.Lewis

If the sun does not rise all the lit candles in the world will not make a day. When the sun arises none of the candles will be seen.

These images give me some deep seated concept of Jesus and how precious He is .

Also the image of Jesus being more beautiful than the vision of the Sunrise rising on the horizon especially viewed from a western coastline and yet but a few go out to watch that daily breathtaking phenomena.

Jesus is more beautiful than the sunrise and so few go out to meet Him!

Jesus is our portion and inheritance.

He is to be lifted higher than all other things.

He is the means by which we see everything else.

He is the Glory above heaven.

“As believers you know his great worth—indeed, his preciousness is imparted to you.

Jesus has the power to infiltrate everything in us and we are free to own this most precious thing in the universe in His Holy Spirit within us.

He gives sense without sight, an image less vision, a communicating inner Being which gives us a deeper conviction, so deep it transcends all natural senses.

We just know we know we know.

Any hardness of heart is just cracked open. We have no entitlement to knowing His presence in this way but in whatever circumstances you just know you are ok because of it.

This is His peace and joy.

All things are His servant and therefore even bad works He will bring good out of.

What precious liberty we have.

Jesus has already slain and beheaded the enemy just as David did Goliath before Him.

We, like David need no armour to do battle with, only belief.

We can stand at the gates of hell and breathe the air of heaven.

Just trust in Jesus.

The opposition always attempts to break our trust.

We put our trust, not in our own hands but in the hands stretched out towards us with holes in them.

God bids us Be.

Yield unto Jesus.

Worship Him .

Be His beloved and let Him do through us.

He can produce the fruits of our Spirit in us while we sleep and do nothing.

It is not through our striving but through who He has made us to be.

Allow Jesus to transform everything.

We would laboriously chip at the iceberg and never make the fast flowing stream.

He melts the iceberg and with ease it becomes the fast flowing stream of living water.

The illustration is of the hand of Jesus, with the hole in, stretched out radiating power and Light transforming each of us and being the Light we see everything else through.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

“As believers you know his great worth—indeed, his preciousness is imparted to you. But for those who do not believe: The stone that the builders rejected and discarded has now become the cornerstone And A stone that makes them stumble and a rock to trip over. They keep stumbling over the message because they refuse to believe it. And this they were destined to do. But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvellous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:7-9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭127:1-2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And the Lord said to Aaron, “You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the people of Israel.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭18:20‬ ‭ESV‬‬
