“ I watch over my Word”
“His word will never come back void “
God is faithful.
His promises are the design for our life.
Not a reward.
God sees us as who we are.
What we are comes back to flow over us abundantly.
We are vessels that will not empty as we pour out but will refill with more of the same.
This is life in abundance.
Jesus is the tree of Life.
When we sit under it we are at rest in God as in the Garden of Eden free to walk, talk and listen as was His intention.
Intimate being and sharing as ones safe and comfortable around the family dinner table.
We were never destined to be under the tree of being deciders of what is right and what is wrong as the enemy placed upon us with his deception.
The world and the enemy continue to tell us as individuals and as Christians what we should or should not decide and do.
In Jesus’ kingdom it is as simple as listening and watching and sharing and obeying
Being in the presence of love, the word and resting there to be constantly refreshed by His breath breathed into us.
It is my belief that it is His desire for our churches to become that place of Home or The Garden of Eden to us when we eventually get more active after lockdown and COVID fears.
Part of the reset that it has generated.
The desire of our hearts to be as family back together to humbly walk, talk, ask questions, share breaking bread, share praying and worshipping together but with the same freedom of our homes.
Not confined by religious orthodoxy and formalities.
Free to focus on God and each other as family not an organisation.
Every person with a part to share for we all see and hear in part and it is together that truth becomes one body.
Be the new covenant commandments in action.
The safe place to model and encounter the intimate relationship which sets apart and refreshes.
Historically, In the days of The Reformation, Martin Luther King asked the question, “ Is this how it should be? “ The Holy Spirit brought answer to that to bring about change and revival.
The wind had changed and what had been previously the season for one type of practice reformed.
Today feels such a time for another Question to be asked.“ Is this how we should be? “
A second wind might right now be bringing a change of direction.A New Reformation might be ready to take centre stage.
Our loving Father has been doing a powerful work of transforming us on the inside. He keeps repeating it to make sure we do not miss the opportunity He has provided.
He relentlessly pursues us with the heart of being there always running towards us and seeking out each and everyone.
This is the season to cast aside being in control and going back to the ways of the religious spirit.
This is the season of positioning ourselves not under the tree of what’s right or wrong but under the tree of life.
Waiting on His voice that we are all hearing in part and in unity submitting to being led and guided into the intended place.
The divine pause.
Then followed by the divine deep exhale of breath.
Then the divine intake of God breaking in.
How many of us holidaying have stood in awe in a monumentally splendid church or basilica splendid in its art form and museum potential.
We have heard the small voice of God saying: “Don’t look in a place that is dead for someone who is alive.”
Or perhaps even more sadly:“ I was worshipped here now I am only remembered.”
This era and season is not about a church even providing a service in and of itself.
It is about a kingdom that knows His life and grace.
The cycle nearly completes back to Eden with people ready to be the Bride along side the Bridegroom at the feast.
The illustration shows the Tree of Life.
Jesus.
The tree to linger and rest at the foot of to hear every word spoken and know what will be.
Bringing Light into darkness.
