“that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
There is a realm of Mystery which surrounds the Lord and His kingdom.
God is opening that Mystery door up to us again because it is His desire for people to know Him through us who believe.
Not other new age practitioners.
Questions provoke us to pursue answers.
A technique Jesus in conversation used by answering with questions to sow intrigue and provoke hunger.
There is a thirst and hunger to be in union with God.
Infused with His mindset as Jesus was.
There is a sense of expectation, of being poised for the great that God is aligning in us.
That which will surpass what we have expected as it blows up the confines of small minded boxes.
We may bewail what we fear we have lost in 2020 but experience recalls that upgrades frequently follow negative situations.
Better comes out of what seemed a disaster.
“I will renew the years that the locusts have eaten”
We could not have a resurrection without a death.
We could not have Light if there were no darkness.
We could not have great outpouring without a desert.
We are called to look towards the hope not the self pitying.
What 2020 withdrew and stole will be renewed seven fold.
2021 is an opened door of opportunity.
We recall how Paul imprisoned gave thanks that it served to advance the kingdom as his guards were transformed.
Look from ourself towards what God can do.
We are never alone even if we have felt isolated.
God is with us.
Encountering His mystery will cause cynicism to mystery to flee.
Acceptance that we do not know or have to know and understand everything.
We will then be free to discern what God is control of.
Discern His power.
Have faith and trust.
Put Him in His rightful place.
His kingdom will be known on earth as it is in heaven.
The illustration shows us going through the opened door of mystery.
Releasing heavens kingdom on earth and pushing back the darkness.
Four Scriptures that come to mind:
“that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.”John 17:21-23 ESV
“Truly, deep within my true identity, I love to do what pleases God.”Romans 7:22 TPT
“But now I’m afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s clever lies, your thoughts may be corrupted and you may lose your single-hearted devotion and pure love for Christ.”2 Corinthians 11:3 TPT
“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.”Joel 2:25 ESV
