“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. “
In the world now there is much confusion.
The work of the enemy.
Confusion brings about a place of being static or only going round in circles.
The nightmare of being lost.
It is like trying to reach a destiny in a fog. The way forward is not seen, not visible the temptation to therefore stand still but this could mean getting left behind or missing the route.
This is where we are urged by God to lean in close and listen to the heart beat of Jesus.
As John the disciple was observed to do at the last supper.
Jesus has a desire to keep us close and safe.
There is the need to trust His voice.
“My sheep know my voice”
Therefore to be led through the unseen to the safety and the point of visibility again.
The Holy Spirit will lead us through the unseen, unknown and keep us out of danger.
We can keep moving forward trusting in the Holy Spirit guiding and not be come left behind, lost or put into danger.
Laying aside time to have dialogue with the Lord is key.
Give God the opportunity to release into our mind and heart understanding the unknown and the unseen.
Take time out from what comparatively can be classed as pointless pursuits.
Biblically there is evidence of people being really intentional with this and fasting, going without something to exemplify the importance of an intention to draw closer to hear God’s word and be privy to its wisdom.
Daniel fasted wine, meats and sweets for 21 days to draw closer.
Much of his prophesy echoes again in our current times.
Giving First fruits, the best not the accidental left overs in our time to be with God in the secret place puts Him first in our lives.
His rightful place and focus.
It is an interesting thought that if we had known at the new year of 2020 what lay ahead would our prayers or actions have lead a different direction to what they did?
We are sometimes led powerfully through unchartered territory and come to the realisation after the event!
Knowing God’s voice and the Holy Spirit’s leading can maintain our aligning.
Encourage, keep hope alive and be of invaluable guidance.
Although it may be weird in the world God is still moving powerfully.
There is still clarity in what will not change ever in Gods faithfulness and promises.
His covenant always remains true.
We remain His heirs.
Sons and daughters of the Living God.
We are in the right place at the right time to see heaven break out on earth if we follow God’s breathe.
The illustration shows the prism of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit surrounding and enfolding us in Prayer and in the revelation of His word. His light becoming our light emanating in the darkness bringing Light to the world to overcome it.
Four Scriptures that come to mind :
“And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!””John 16:33 TPT
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,”1 Corinthians 14:33 ESV
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.””John 8:12 ESV
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”Matthew 5:16 ESV
