Put away the lesser things and move onto the Greater.
Jesus wants to be Lord in our lives.
He has shown us in 2020 we have to separate ourselves from affections for other things and for other loves and for the world.
He has highlighted our need to be centred in our families, our churches and in our humanity brothers and sisters. Centred on love, caring and our kingdom values.
He is showing so many downfalls in our own selfish natures, those underlying poor leadership, evil and darkness.
In stripping away He has given new opportunities to see His desire to lift us up close to His face and shelter us, protest us.
Now 2021 we are more ready to deepen our relationship and to remember what is Greater and what is lesser in our lives.
We have and are being led into a new agreement.
A single minded devotion to be lovers of the joy of His presence, His rest, His peace, His purity, His Lordship.
The Holy Spirit is pulling us in close to heal and restore us as we become more dissatisfied with the world and more longing for Jesus only in the same measure as He longs for us.
Throughout all the shaking and the shifting we are at last ready to fine tune and hear, through the clanging and clashing, the voice that has always been saying “ come”.
The storms around us have become the battle field within us too.
Revival begins from within as we rediscover who Jesus is and become in greater agreement for Him to be Lord of our lives.
As we surrender our souls to His invitation to “come away with me “.
We can rest in that higher place enfolded and vulnerable but trusting whole heartedly in Him.
We are hungry to be out of crazy, pollution, unhealthy, chaos,War zone. Yet we are called to be the light in that very place.
Our only safe place, refuge, is in Him.
He can change the atmosphere here on earth and bring His kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.
We too, through our prayers and agreement with Him.
Through our reflecting Him and His light in the darkness in the world.
The illustration shows us in that elevated place of closeness to our Lord Jesus.
Face to face to hear every word that comes from His mouth and draw it into our very being.
He is the light in the darkness pushing darkness aside.
