We need to know Jesus and the Holy Spirit so that we can have confidence to recognise the enemy and rebuke all that steals and robs us of the kingdom.
It is important to be able to discern good and evil but also what God is moving in and know that there is favour and authority in what is in His will at any given time.
An exposed enemy is already defeated easily against all the odds, simply and in a minute as we see in the example of David and Goliath.
The name Goliath apparently means exposed, uncovered, revealed.
Against all the odds defeated by a small shepherd boy, unprotected, with just a small stone in his hand.
But God was in it moving with His purpose in that moment.
We get to know our mandate over and above that which is the expected, taken for granted, part of the remit as a Christian, in one way only.
That is by leaning in close and listening and asking. Being in relationship and sharing so that we too know
When we have any decisions making or find ourselves in circumstances or situations we are in a place of needing wisdom.
What is the battle God has favour on in this hour?
Is it the right time?
Is it surrounded by the right people?
Is it partly my battle?
Bringing us into the sphere of opportunity and favour God has for us.
Come into God’s perfect will where the heavenly realm can come closely alongside the earthly realm and be in God’s favour and action, not man’s.
We become part of His governance.
“And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”
God will use what is in our hands and ability just as He did with David.
Simply, easily we are part of a victorious Kingdom.
“Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
God is setting us free from our past, delivering us from past failures and empowering us.
We fight from victory.
Where the enemy has been wreaking havoc in the world it is time for to be set free.
We go forth to tear down and expose.
The tables are turned.
We are not in bondage but in freedom ready to rise up with God in this hour.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
We are over comers.
The illustration shows the bow drawn back to release the arrow, the battle being defeated for us from God’s council. Being set free to overcome the enemy and push the darkness back.
