“Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place,”
God, challenges Job, with the awe of what He can create and what He is capable of.
A reminder that if each morning we frame the day with what He can do the day will start well.
Be set up for wonder, miraculous and awe inspiring blessing.
It can both bring life to us and those who we encounter.
The word and the spirit come together and perfectly fill the space of the day.
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you.”
God has a place and a purpose for us but we may only be in that moment by following the guidance of the Holy Spirit and by knowing His word and will to draw upon in that situation.
“Only let us hold true to what we have attained.”
It is by abiding in Jesus that we can fulfil our purpose.
Jesus combated Satan in the wilderness by knowing what God’s word is.
He had within Him and to hand immediately the response “It is written”.
With that there can be no argument and the enemy must retreat defeated.
Game over.
Our strongest weapon.
It has to be deeply embedded in us so that it can readily flow out of us either in our words, our thinking or our actions.
God is equipping us with deeper revelation in our spirit because He is enabling us to fall in love again with His word.
Where we were once dismissive of the bible as being hard to read and understand He is giving us a new passion for it.
Interesting that one of the most recent translations of the NT has been called The Passion Translation, TPT.
A translation which very much speaks to the heart more than just the mind.
The following is called whisper and written by the translator of TPT. to advertise it.
I Hear His Whisper . . .
Let my words strengthen you.
This very day, my words will mean more to you than anything anyone could ever say. It is in my words that you find life and strength. When you are praised or when you are criticized, come back to me and lay those words before me. Only in my presence will you know truth. If I correct you, it’s for your transformation. When I encourage you and display my love, receive it with joy, for it is your strength.
When you feel condemned by others, remember, condemnation doesn’t come from me. I never condemn my children. My words are meant to strengthen you and build you. Do not seek the respect of others and thereby forget my words. It is my love you need.
Come close to me, and I will come closer to you, until you see my glory and my beauty. I have walked close with you through your childhood years, even when you did not recognize me. And now, my words are sweeter as you grow older and more tender. I am your life source, and today, I am the living Word within you.
