“Come,” says the Holy Spirit and the Bride in divine duet. Let everyone who hears this duet join them in saying, “Come.” Let everyone gripped with spiritual thirst say, “Come.” And let everyone who craves the gift of living water come and drink it freely. “ It is my gift to you! Come.”
God wants us healthy and whole ready to get back in the game again.
We must not become too comfortable in the seclusion of our cave.
The enemy wants to isolate God’s desire is to unite.
God is winning in this hour as He works on our hearts to prepare us to be well balanced in both the word and the spiritual.
We have had opportunity to be more vulnerable and naked before God.
To know Jesus more intimately and experientially.
Intimacy is not proximity just being positioned close by being in the word or going through a repetitive formula of prayers.
It is knowing Jesus is with us and what He is saying, sensing what is in His action towards us knowing how He is touching us, feeling what He is doing as He melts our hard hearts.
We can come to God loved and clothed in Christ and sense God’s delight.
He is the Way, the Truth, the Life.
We can come to God still before Him, open and listening to align with His prompts and agenda instead of being preoccupied by our own.
We are not bound and confined by liturgical disciples and works.
We are aware that God’s desire is to develop our wellness, wholeness, character, rootedness so that we can, just in being, be strong for others.
He softens and enlarges our hearts.
He lifts our down cast heads to see His eyes of love and the eyes of need in others.
Encounter Christ and encounter others.
Isolation and the platform of zoom lack in that real connection of heart when we are face to face.
This is God’s yearning.
This is what our hearts now yearn for more than anything else.
His desire is for us to stand shoulder to shoulder, to hold each other’s arms, to strengthen each other.
This is why He desires our wellness and the resurrection power of Christ to be within us.
Prepared and ready to get back into breaking the spirit of isolation off us that the enemy has engaged in, to winning the game that Jesus has already overcome.
Whether we have been held captive in monotony and boredom at one end of the scale or in panic and feeling overwhelmed at the other.
He has control and has won already.
“By your mighty power I can walk through any devastation and you will keep me alive, reviving me. Your power set me free from the hatred of my enemies.”
We must position ourselves in and be surrounded by Him for our well being, strength and protection.
“For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”
The illustration shows a softened and enlarged heart in readiness to pick up the pieces and get ready to get back in the game and push darkness back with the light.
