We all expected Coronavirus to be over quicker from the start and not for the scale of resurgence that we have seen.
The optimism from the distributing of the vaccine seeming overnight to be dashed with the advance of new strains that seemingly spread quicker and with more impact.
The enemy attack may seem relentless and a cause for despair if we overindulge in him and don’t wait upon what God is saying .
Throughout the bible the word references “ shaking “ and frequently we see that in the Kingdom this is not for death and destruction as the enemy intends.
It is for removal of what is at root and foundation not good.
Then for release of what is good.
Then for replacement and reformation.
God allows it for change and will not stop until that has been accomplished.
Until He is done.
Shaken out of indifference and complacency.
Shaken into prayer and seeking.
Shaken out of belief in self sufficiency.
Shaken into recognition of a need for what in the natural is out of our power.
Shaken to wake and see spiritually a necessity for new wine skins. The old are crumbling.
Shaken to realising the new is Jesus Christ.
His Governance and His Kingdom.
We have been in a past season where systems once worked effectively but as the quaking and trembling fracture these structures it is of no point clinging on to them for our security.
Standing out in the clear space is Jesus Christ with arms outstretched to catch us.
We observe those bravely loosing their clinging to crumbling structures to reach out for His arms and as they succeed they too are freed of the carapace that has been their home and protection and they are released from captivity into freedom and regrow themselves.
We see more who witness this transformation doing likewise until there is a mass movement of people free, liberated but who have no idea what to do next in this new territory.
We know what we are leaving but we have no idea what we are going into.
We depend on the revelation of God and our place in Christ but we are ready to go, our paralysis in the Coronavirus season will be relinquished as we are released.
God is doing a work in these days.
That surpasses our understanding.
As in the vision of Habakkuk. There are “ guilty men, whose own might is their god!”
We like Habakkuk have possibly complained and asked God what is going on and how can so many lives be lost in such a time but we have to allow God to be God in a bigger picture than we can see.
The seven mountains of our world in yesterday’s blog illustration, that we cannot begin to comprehend in all areas of influence, are minute and transparently dealt with in God’s majestic and omnipotent timing.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
The shaking will stop.
Much is going on in the spiritual realms.
Let God and Christ reign and rule in our lives and be our refuge and our source in every way.
“Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice. Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.”
The illustration shows the King, the Prince as the powerful lion. The victory both accomplished already and to come pushing back the darkness.
