BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 259 ( Less is Greater, Greater is less ).

There is a lost simplicity in the Gospel. Jesus .

Before He splits the skies apart to return He has to break our hearts with the fear that there will be those who burn in hell because they have not heard it.

They do not know Jesus.

Our hearts must be broken until we shed tears for the lost.

We have to be convicted that what is in the Gospel is the only answer.

Belief and faith in Jesus Christ.

Our conviction and intercession will make us as Peter say.

“If it is You command me to come! Walk on water.”

We will say if it is me command me to walk on the water and release whatever is necessary to release the power from heaven to others You are walking towards to say “come to “

It takes total dependency on Him and not ourselves or anything else of this world

It is Jesus alone who is needed. Any +1 is an idol.

Jesus is not just 1st He is IT.

It is pointless reeling around in anything we drink from the cup of ourselves or the world.

To drink from the cup of Life.

The cup of Jesus.

Is our only salvation.

When we move towards God it is because He has moved towards us first.

God so loved the world that He sent His only son that whosever believed in Him should have eternal life.

We cannot demand of Jesus until we have found Him to love and adore above all else.

Jesus longs for to be invited, included, to bring others to but He will not be summoned it will be through our love relationship with Him.

He simply wants to undo us, break our hearts to love.

He is all we need or want.

Only at this point can we truly draw others to Him.
God is calling us back to Himself, the first love we were never intended to leave.

We cannot strive our way to that place.

It is attained when it becomes our desire above all else.

We have been shaken to discovering there is much we can do without but not God, not Jesus, not the Holy Spirit.

When He comes no one needs to announce Him!

We recognise Him.

We know we know.

We just know there is no need for anything else.

God is stripping us back to the heart and knowledge that all we need is Him.

We can’t help but worship and want to be part of Him.

Just as we sense the awesome beauty of a morning sunrise and clamour for our phone to take a photo and have a part of it, so we will sense the awe and wonder in our Lord and clamour to be part of Him.

That encounter in our heart will be what the world and others detect.

Something not owned by anyone but breaking out that overwhelms us with its essence of love.

When His Spirit breaks out it will be beauty and messy.

Like rain comes with refreshing and nutrients for the earth but also the mess of floods and the tearing down from the storm.

The illustration shows the essence of the Gospel to know Jesus died on the cross for our salvation the redemption of our sins. Arose and defeated death, the hope of our victory. Once and for all pushing back the darkness with His light.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:20-21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for “Their voice has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.””‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:16-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised— who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:31-34‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:37-39‬ ‭ESV‬‬
