We have authority only when we are under authority.
The person who we worship and submit to is that authority.
We submit and align ourselves to Jesus and we will operate in His power and His authority.
If we don’t have authority in our own lives we will have no influence in the lives of others.
As individuals and church we are called to have influence in the lives of others and the world.
Jesus is above all other.
He is the Light in the world.
His authority came from His Father.
It is an illusion that the world will keep on as always.
The pandemic if nothing else has been revelatory in this and has exposed a vulnerability and fragility that has impacted man’s thinking .
What happens in the world is a reflection of what happens in the spiritual realm.
Most of the world doesn’t recognise this.
Doesn’t recognise where their authority is sourced.
They are therefore ill equipped to combat.
People loose substance and authenticity when they deviate from the word of God.
Many are totally ignorant of what the word of God actually is.
That God’s word can break, like a hammer, what goes against Him.
Instead many have become carelessly familiar with a God they scarcely know or deny the existence or need for.
Most do not know that Jesus name is above every other name
Jesus came for the ones who needed Him most.
Many do not know He understands us, is our advocate.
“He sympathises with us in our frailty. He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. “
He can examine us under the harshest of lights and expose our true authenticity.
He has the potential to provide and medicate us to a place of peace instead of anxiety.
The vaccine to enable the compromised autoimmune system to deal with that which attacks it.
The aim of the enemy being to steel, divide and take on pseudo authority.
Jesus is the only authority with His origin in love.
“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
The illustration shows the loving God protecting His creation and those He created from all attacks. His authority and light prevailing and pushing back the darkness.
