“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
God can be drown out in a sea of irrelevant trivial distractions.
We are amusing ourselves to death.
The infidelity in our souls is exhibited in our appetite for seeking pleasure and comfort in other places.
What we choose to love in this pleasure syndrome is destroying us, shrinking us and making us hollow empty people who want constant escapism.
We become no different to those of the world with no faith and who do not know God.
We do not, like Moses, cry out to God. “Show me YourGlory” We need healing of our self destruction in trivia.
Church cries out to see Gods Glory but then rushes on to self set agendas and to not lingering and waiting upon it.
We have evolved instead an extraordinary self perception of seeing our own greatness because we have lost sight of the magnitude of His Glory.
We have elevated ourselves when in essence we have shrunk.
We need considerable correction and realignment to position ourselves on bent knee and face down to elevate God to His rightful glory in all things.
He must increase.
We must decrease.
The place where His Glory covers the earth as water covers the sea.
We must consider our ways and not squander and waste time building our own homes. When it is God’s will for us to build His temple.
We must turn from self indulgence and repent so that we don’t squander what He is opening for us.
Our greater desire should be to position ourselves to experience God’s glory before it departs.
We being obsessed with trivia is not the culture of heaven it is the culture of the world.
We must never become unbelieving believers.
We must step into the fulfilment that the Spirit brings beyond any fulfilment the world has to offer.
Purify our hearts to see the true gold and silver.
To corporately find time to linger focused in the presence of the Lord awaiting His glory to be revealed beyond the veil of heaven here on earth.
John the Baptist saw the clouds part, those at the cross saw the veil rented top to bottom, the disciples up the mountain witnessed at the transfiguration.
We who die to the fast pace fixes and discover how to just be still and linger in our churches will become part of the hope for the world.
Hosting God is our solution to problems that appear beyond us.
God’s Glory reveals and activates His infinite greatness
Now is the Mary time, not the Martha.
Waiting and focusing are very scriptural.
We see the disciples being told to to receive the full weight a d power of God.
We need to train ourselves to wait and linger purposely.
In those moments we can release and clear a place that the Glory can come and fill.
In fullness we can carry it out with us for the world to see also.
Like Moses we need to contend God.“Show me Your Glory.”
God’s glory must penetrate all brokenness to overcome it.
We are looking for a time where Gods glory comes not just to be encountered and then it is gone but for it to find its dwelling place and habitat amongst us.
For a throne to be built on earth as in Heaven.
We are God’s image bearers. Although in truth “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”However because of Christ we get to partake in His luminosity.
Hell is the place of the absence of Glory and absence of majesty.
God’s brilliance is blinding in its immeasurable magnitude.
The illustration shows the Luminosity of the glory of God from which flows the stream of living water. The salvation of the cross and the love which overpowers darkness.
