BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 274 ( Less is Greater, Greater is less ).

“Immediately the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace, opposite the lampstand. And the king saw the hand as it wrote.”

To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Biblically Watchmen Prophets were those who stood as watchmen on the walls and saw when the enemy was coming and what he was doing.

Their declaration of this was so essential to the welfare of those within the walls that should they fail to speak out and warn any blood shed was on their hands.

The enemy of God, His people His church is Satan.

The prince of the world and his principalities, army of demon spirits.

As much as it is a subject that people have discomfort in discussing and acknowledging it is one to be drawn out into the open and exposed right now, the writing on the wall, to be fully prepared.

When light is shed upon him the enemy is seen to be much smaller. The lamp standards illuminating as they burn with oil, Holy Spirit.

Small enough to place a foot on the neck of and his influence overpowered.

As Christians we know he has already been overcome.

The victory was won at the cross.

The enemy would still like us to feel his resistance and be fatigued by it and retreat from what is our promise instead of pushing back, standing together strong in unity owning our victory.

As we commence back into normality out of lock down the enemy will be ready for battle to keep us isolated and anti the new that God sovereignly has for us.

He will want us to be in a safety mindset, bound in a safety blanket which restricts like a straight jacket type of container.

Safety of familiar and old, safety of substandard and flawed and mediocre.

The anti change, anti new voices.

Those who would not release the sandbags to fly.

Risk averse.

Playing safe is going to be the enemies cry.

The pandemic in the natural has clearly shown us there is nothing remarkable for us in the experience of staying safe in lockdown.

Not our desire for ever!

God is not safe but He is good.

God does not expect lack of courage. Where would our trust be?

God has revealed how much we need closeness to Him and one another to operate in love as He intended.

Disconnection leads to discontent, disorder.

Going through the motions and activity of relationship are inadequate.

Luke warm substitute.

Real, rigorous, passionate relationship with God, Jesus each other is what is authentic.

We fail to be vibrant wearing a safety blanket and a muzzle that the enemy knows will cripple the church.

God is lifting us out of the valley to be placed on the hill.

Rebuilding new walls to Jerusalem Nehemiah style.

A supernatural speed as everyone takes tireless responsibility for their own family portion and builds whilst fully armed against enemy attack.

Knowledge of what the enemy planned and closeness in prayer to God equipped and enabled their successful rebuild.

The warning amplified and unmuted prophetically exposing the wiles of the enemy for all to hear, see.

Partnering with God’s plans and not the enemy’s is clearly being exposed now.

Brought into view now as being in God’s timing.

The illustration shows a prophetic watchman’s need to watch, be alert, on guard, to remove the muzzle and bark out the warning of the enemy action. To give warning. To expose and shed light upon what was in the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

“Immediately the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace, opposite the lampstand. And the king saw the hand as it wrote.”‭‭Daniel‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭3:17-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.”‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭33:7-9‬ ‭ESV‬‬
