“you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;”
Righteousness is of God and the kingdomWickedness is of the enemy and his world culture.
Some aspects of some churches have grown into mirroring the world to keep relevance and being friends with the culture.
We discover the world to be looking for radically different from flaws it sees in its own culture and not finding it.
We are called to be those who are radically different just as Jesus was.
We as the body and church are called to be those who :
“have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. ““In the world but not of the world.”
We have fallen into compromise by mixing the two.
God is stirring up so that we are submitted to Him. He is not an add on to what people are comfortable in the world with.
The two parts of the mixture need separating and made pure. No partnering with the enemy demons.
He is a radical game changer.
He is in tear down and battle mode. There are still Babel towers constructed by man and not God.
He desires we come together in our mindset not just have our own opinions but unity in Him.
There is strength in togetherness as is scripturally portrayed in Samuel In the eradication of the enemy Philistines by relying on God’s guidance and the recruiting of many more to the Israelites as they saw and recognised this favoured force of strength.
Discernment of spirits is required. We should ask? What are You doing Holy Spirit?What spirit is operating in this situation?
Our prayers would be : Help us to hate wickedness and hate. Help us to love Your righteousness and love.
Truth must not be watered down, made counterfeit or half truths in our faith.
Statistics in Great Britain reveal that 76% of people are miles away from church. In the under thirty age range this increases to 90%.
We can no longer just add Jesus to lives that are culture and world focused.
The mixture is dilute and ineffectual.
Two or three people hidden behind church doors who are on fire for Jesus are not visible to the world. The influential power is ineffectual.
Individuals, and separate fractions are weak. They do not have the strength or attraction of big numbers. Their dynamic is ineffectual.
Repetition of tradition, out dated, mirroring normals with Jesus as an add on is declining is ineffectual.
Negative words, dreams and thoughts belong to the enemy and we are not partnering with them.
God is already in action in releasing new into people’s hearts.
What yesterday would have seemed presumptuous today is to be released with a fresh anointing and authority.
New is in the making and new is being made ready to be received.
How exciting there is a fresh anointing of courage and hope. How exciting that God is moving expectantly. How exciting that there is vision for tens of thousand of new plants to be birthed. How exciting that it is anticipated 7,000 as yet unbirthed, on fire Christians will be equipped to trail-blaze. How exciting these statistics come from within the Church of England and have the approval of the Archbishop of Canterbury. How exciting it is a new to be rooted in relational foundations and not in institutional foundations. How exciting to be part of new territory as it unfolds. How exciting to be filled with hope.
Let’s pray, speak and declare it aligning with God’s Will and kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
