“For as many of you as were baptised into Christ have put on Christ.”
Our connection with Jesus frees us from the need for anything else.
He resting within and upon us is all we need.
We feel empty and lacking without Him within. We feel naked and vulnerable without Him upon us.
We are more ready than we think to do God’s work.
Just as David, in his shepherd outfit was ready for the task of slaying Goliath, he did not need to be clothed in armour for battle it would have hindered him, so Jesus clothes us as we are for succeeding.
God created us and loves us as we are.
Naked in His sight should give us confidence to have no shame of how we compare ourselves with others.
Each day we can naked stand before Him and ask Him to clothe us in Himself and we can be dressed in the weight of His glory fit for every purpose He has that day.
When we come to choose the other clothes we dress in we can recall in Genesis that it was God himself who made Garments for Adam and Eve before they left Eden.
He cares what we wear and that we portray Him and His kingdom in the colour and fashion we choose.
Satan influences more in the worlds fashion than we realise.
Subconsciously almost we select our outfit with an agenda.
Statements of power, sophistication, status, wealth allure fashion conscious. We make different versions of ourselves sometimes as masquerade and to emulate others.
We may ask daily how God wants to dress us in the natural and in the spiritual. It may be the opposite to what we think if it is a statement from another realm.
What we choose to wear and what we observe being worn reflects and has impact on our mental well being, our fatigue, our decision making, our dignity, our integrity and honour.
God is creative and He anoints.
He dresses me the way clothes cannot.
When we are clothed in Christ. We reflect Him. We put life on. We radiate Jesus. We own beauty. We are healed We destroy shame and death.
I put on Christ daily. I wear my King daily. I dress in Glory.
The illustration shows the prism of the Trinity, the spectrum of the Holy Spirit. Our nakedness clothed in Christ and in reflecting Him the light pushes back the darkness.

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”Colossians 3:12, 14 ESV
