BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 310 ( Less is Greater, Greater is less ).

“For the Spirit-Wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound, but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is the same with those who are Spirit-born!”

If we disown our lives and let go, surrender, our obedience is rewarded by freedom.

Surrender is not a weakness it is a strength.

“The greatness of a man’s power is the measure of his surrender.” William Booth

To get up and go in faith has a great reward because God responds to our “yes” with blessings.

Just as Abraham had no idea where he was going or what to expect but his total obedience was rewarded totally by God.

We are embarking upon the new and it is very much unknown territory for us but if our faith and our surrender are to Him we are assured.

Wherever the wind blows us we know His promise holds and He “remains faithful”.

We can emerge from the wilderness as individuals,or the church body, supported and leaning close upon the Lord .

“Who is that coming up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved?“

He has it all in control and that is all we need to know to be at peace and joy in His company.

His question seems to be “where will you choose to lay your head?”

Jesus is the answer.

He beckons and lays open His arms to receive us.

Our destination is not a time or place it is Him.

Now is the time He is allowing us to have this revealed to us more acutely than ever before and it hinges so much on our proximity to Him and how prepared we are to succumb.

To lay ourselves open to offer up weakness and surrender.

That will be the sacrifice that, like that of Jesus on the cross, becomes the salvation and resurrection power on earth as it is in heaven.

God can resurrect what we give Him or He can replace what we have given with so much better.

We yield with no question, with no answer needed when we say “yes”, or just Go, before we even know the where or the why.

That subtle shift is right where we are now.

Faith propels us to Jesus Christ.

A Christ king who could demand our “yes” but who prefers to invite us to what He offers.

His loving kindness will not bully us to go or say “yes .”

We choose of our own free will and it can then become our greatest delight. Our hope, our way of peace and joy.

The illustration shows those choosing to clothe themselves in Christ and trust to go and say “yes” to wherever the Holy Spirit wind blows them. Totally surrendered and becoming the light that pushes back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“For the Spirit-Wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound, but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is the same with those who are Spirit-born!””‭‭John‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself.”‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Who is that coming up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved? Under the apple tree I awakened you. There your mother was in labor with you; there she who bore you was in labor.”‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭8:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬
