The Holy Spirit does not keep reminding us of our failures. Sins are forgiven as they are confessed. He does keep reminding us of our purpose.
Jesus is our shepherd, we know His voice. He does not drive us from the rear. He leads us from the front and allows us to choose to submit and to follow.
He provides and protects us. We reside in peace with no fear, in safety and as rescued.
It is only if we become distracted, wander off and get lost that we put ourselves into a place of danger.
We all have an inner need to feel loved, cared for, provided for. To have the well being sense of being at home not alone.
There is a deep seated yearning to grow within the parameters for the cross flow between us as we hear His voice. We cling to His words as if our life depends on hearing them.
If we have become distanced from them there is joy in rediscovering and His revelation changes our position of hope and understanding.
We are looking and listening for Him everywhere and we are freed from chains of religious trappings.
“I’ve chosen to obey your truth and walk in the splendour -light of all that you teach me. “
This divine interruption reassures us that we are His servant and bow before Him always.
“Reassure me of your promises, for I am your beloved, your servant who bows before you.”
There is nothing perfect we can seek after and make our purpose or goal in this world. There is only His face and His words.
Only then do we truly pant for the unfolding revelation and understanding that He is constantly making us ready to receive as He imparts it.
Lovers of His word are lovers of Jesus. He is the word. He is the Love that it portrays. He is the revelation we seek after knowing. He gives us our purpose. He is the Light, the way.
The more we know Him, His word, the greater the peace we abide in . “ Abide in me and I in you. “
