“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.”
The reset is that of corporate hunger, longing and desire for God.
Even the world is asking where can I go to meet with God and it may not recognise it’s answer in what has become the tradition of church.
God comes to dwell where He sees hunger on display.
True hunger creates a longing and yearning for food that is too deep for words. Hunger pangs give rise to deep groaning and wailing and abandonment for pretence and polite.
A desperation and blinkered focus which cannot be distracted a yearning and longing to have desires met.
This will be the sound made by the corporate body of those who reflect the groaning and wailing of the Holy Spirit, God in heaven Jesus in His kingdom, the Triune Spirit yearning and longing for Their body.
We are made in God’s image we mirror Him. Our praise and worship will be in our corporate ability to display this hunger and yearning as the body. Not in doing but in being.
Corporately we need to serve each other by showing and displaying the hunger we have.
This will be what unifies the world and church because I need you and you need me. I cannot get what I desire without you. We reflect God who cannot have His desire without us.
“ you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
Heaven’s culture has an atmosphere of hunger, desire, passionate, compassionate , fulfilment and exotic.
We mirror the standard in heaven and must not be duped into being switched off, independent or content with anything less than God’s desire.
We are made in His image. God is relational, passionate, longs for and loves us. Is zealous, jealous and extravagant in that hunger for us.
As humanity we respond to each other and to Him. Are we reflecting enthusiasm, desire, warm heartedly, desperately as He does?
Are we exhibiting the David passionate abandonment to our hunger and passion to dance and worship Him infectiously or are we looking down aloofly in a maturity and place which results in fruitlessness like his wife Michal?
Our freedom to reflect the kingdom as awesome and wildly extravagant filled with wonder, unexpected, spiritual outpouring and our hunger for it will ignite the world .
It will not snuff out the flame with subdued cynicism, scepticism, control and restrictions of religiosity.
We are not tied to defending our culture. We are part of another realm.
Our issue is our shared hunger which draws God to dwell amidst us.
In the gathering will be the anointing.
The place of advance is not me but we, not my but our. Blessed corporately not independently.
Sharing emotion, love and time visibly, unashamedly and regardless of dignity and decorum we move into the new.
Lovesick, hungrily, desperate, yearning and passionate for Jesus as both our King and our groom.
Our longing and hunger rises as the corporate bride.
The illustration shows the lovesick unity of the bride and groom closeted by all. The hunger for The Triune God for His body and bride. Light pushing back all darkness.
