“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
God is powerful and mighty and this is what He has for us to contend for in prayer for.
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
More is possible. Contained thinking, safety and small is so restrictive to where God desires us to go and to be.
We must hear the cry from God when He says:
“I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless“
He is a God who goes forth, boldly fearless of risk with the mindset of victory.
He calls us to this image not to be of the victim mind set of the enemy’s lies, weak and remaining safe. Satisfied with crumbs when a banquet is spread.
We are called to step out and to occupy space with what we have that is new.
It is scriptural that the enemy will attempt to occupy space with 7x more strength if it remains unoccupied attempting to worsen a condition that we have cleansed as in the demon replaced by Seven returning to occupy and find a home.
As God renews and makes space His intention is for His body to possess, occupy and advance the kingdom.
Reformation is God’s desire. Not revival of what has been moved on from. That mind set falls short of His kingdom.
His mandate now is to pour out His mercy and glory:“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
It calls for us to step out of small, contained faulted thinking mindset and to step into and partner with His spaciousness and the mindset of Christ.
Kick out evil and the demonic and proactively displace and occupy in the full knowledge of the resurrection power that God’s word and presence commands.
As the Roman Empire was built and processed as they advanced in the natural world we Spiritually take possession in The kingdom of God. Resisting, overturning, invading, annihilating, repossessing and advancing.
We are not in a maintaining and camping here zone thinking this is all we need. As Peter did at the Transfiguration moment as perfect as it appeared there was so much more in the journey.
We do not have the right or permission to stop, to camp, to enjoy until all is fulfilled in the journey.
The dissatisfaction with the status quo is indicative that there is more just as there has been so much more in the journey from the OT covenant to the NT covenant and onward.
From the place of the Tabernacle as God’s dwelling place to His dwelling place being within the temple of our body and collectively as His church.
Now it is His desire to cover the earth in His Glory in readiness for heaven to be on earth.
Church has multiple evidence of reformation. To reform it has to break free from conforming. We cannot be a reformer and a conformer at the same time.
The presence of God in captivity will result in Him breaking out.
We personify the temple and God will break out and erupt from us first.
Every aspect of God is mighty. He inhabits us and it is to be through us that His Glory will pour out and permeate into the world.
