“Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place.”
Many of our problems and issues are rooted in our choice to go and do it alone. Alone is so far from God’s design and intention for us.
Right from creation in Genesis God knew that Adam wasn’t meant to be alone and He made the provision of Eve and for mankind to expand to families and community to dwell in His presence. His intention for them to be dependent on Him and interdependent with one another.
Sin separated mankind from God and God’s resolve of that breakaway was in the form of Jesus who bore the punishment of sin for us all so that we were in a right place with God again and with that Jesus also brought the new Covenant where we loved God and one another above ourselves.
Our choice not to implement and obey that covenant leaves us burdened by habits of not resting and not being interdependent.
We again have to return to the true will and design of our Designer.
There is the opportunity now to be reset and restored to that place.
Loving Jesus is the enabler of this great miracle to release the grace and healing.
To restore us to a life of wellness and victory. Together as one we both rest upon and bear the burdens for.
As we fall back into Jesus and rest others can release their burden weight for us to share and we all survive in this inverted kingdom of what in the natural seems impossible but in the spiritual realms is the only way.
Our strength is in Jesus. Whatever the circumstances there are pools or wells of living water to be poured out from Him to replenish our reserve.
We need not live in fatigue, dryness and burn out exhaustion. Neither need we live in unrest and business .
We were created for rest. We were created to share our burden in humility not for pride and the arrogance of self achievement.
We are called to break agreement with an enemy who drives us and to choose instead to take up the yoke where Jesus takes the strain and we simply follow.
Disbelief and disobedience denies us our dwelling place of rest and then we become drained.
Leviticus teaches us that it is by obedience to rest that our fruitfulness is dependant upon it.
We have to push beyond our restlessness into Jesus and believe in God’s full promise for us.
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.”
As King David did we find our strength in the Lord. Jesus , as light, illuminates the truth.
As we associate with Him and His wisdom we can disassociate with the source of our stress.
The illustration shows the inverted pyramid with Jesus at the pivotal point bearing the burden. Of His body to rest in and the body sharing the burden of others. The spectrum being the power of the Holy Spirit and the light pushing back the datkness.
Six Scriptures that come to mind:

They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion.”Psalms 84:5-7 TPT
