“Loving me empowers you”
Our experience and journey through life is a discovery of love. From the incarnate finite love we discover has its source in Infinite Love. The Godhead Trinity. Who we can grow also to love and become part of. Love that is infinitely more than any that the world can give.
Jesus implores us to know and love Him because through that He will then make His dwelling place within and upon us and He becomes known and visible within the world and to others seeking Him.
His promise is that we will be His children and never be made an orphan.
Loving Him empowers us.
“Loving me empowers you to obey my commands. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Saviour, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you.”
It is His unearned gift and is accessed through our weakness not strength.
“My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.”
When Jesus was raised up into heaven we were raised also as heirs by His side. It is dependant only upon us overcoming, obeying and believing in.
“And to the one who conquers I will give the privilege of sitting with me on my throne, just as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”
He made us holy and worthy of that place, again not by our own works or striving. We are not just spectators we are participating in God’s will.
There are realms that God intended to be accessible to all of humanity but which were lost to us at the fall. It is as if, out of the seven colours of the spectrum, we only see in one dimension and realm now but some is hidden from most of our eyes, veiled.
Some of us tap into the other parts of the spectrum made wide open and available by Jesus Christ.
God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. Thankfully although we sin if we confess He forgives and cleanses and keeps us pure in that merciful action.
“ God is pure light. You will never find even a trace of darkness in him. If we claim that we share life with him, but keep walking in the realm of darkness, we’re fooling ourselves and not living the truth. But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds him, we share unbroken fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, continually cleanses us from all sin. If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them, he will be faithful to forgive us every time. God is just to forgive us our sins because of Christ, and he will continue to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we claim that we’re not guilty of sin when God uncovers it with his light,”
I ponder upon what would have happened if Adam and Eve had only stood up and confessed and asked forgiveness after their disobedient act in Eden ? The curse may not have been deemed necessary and we all may have been in access of all realms of the spectrum. Heaven and earth. Our spiritual and earthly bodies.
Hell was created to cast the enemy and his other fallen angels into not mankind.
There is a place where we can walk with God and manifest His glory. This Freedom was God’s original intention and His heart for us to regain.
To love Him and know unreservedly of His love for us. The whole message that the Gospel has to give status for us again.
Jesus is the key.
The illustration shows the key that unlocks and releases Jesus. Jesus breaks out and His kingdom and His love and brings freedom and light to the world pushing back the darkness and breaking the chains of sin and separation.
Seven Scriptures that come to mind:
“Jesus replied, “Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place.”John 14:23 TPT
“Loving me empowers you to obey my commands. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you know him intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you.”John 14:15-17 TPT
“But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.”2 Corinthians 12:9 TPT
“And to the one who conquers I will give the privilege of sitting with me on my throne, just as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”Revelation 3:21 TPT
“This is the life-giving message we heard him share and it’s still ringing in our ears. We now repeat his words to you: God is pure light. If we claim that we’re not guilty of sin when God uncovers it with his light,”1 John 1:5-10 TPT
“Jesus replied, “Let me make this very clear, you came looking for me because I fed you by a miracle, not because you believe in me.”John 6:26 TPT
“Jesus replied to them, “Listen to this eternal truth: Unless you eat the body of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have eternal life.”John 6:53 TPT
