“I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.”
Scripture tells us that the Father does not judge us. He leaves all judgement to the Son.
“For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honour the Son, just as they honour the Father. Whoever does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him.”
We know that the work Jesus did at the cross, in being sacrificed for our sins, taking them upon His shoulders to atone and redeem us, makes us without sin.
In the eyes of the Father and the Son we are sinless and guilt free. Seen by them as righteous and Holy.
“for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.”
If they do not judge or condemn, we would be disbelieving them and putting ourselves above them therefore if we judged or condemned or failed to forgive anyone else or indeed ourselves.
Forgiveness, mercy, compassion and love are the nature of God the Father and Son.
The Holy Spirit May convict us of our sins only so that we will repent and ask forgiveness and we can rest assured our sins will be forgiven and no longer remembered or held against us.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
We can witness this to others and especially to the world who do not know Jesus, only if we forgive ourselves.
Jesus came to give freedom. I too must be set free and then be in a position to set others free to forgive themselves.
Jesus is the only answer to bring success. To bring us out of the darkness and into the light .
“I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.”
Knowing forgiveness we know the peace and joy of living at one with God.
All words have power. God spoke creation into being. Jesus spoke healing, storms to be still, the dead to be raised. Our positive, non judgemental, peace giving forgiving words give the opportunity for life giving transformation in other’s lives.
To be freed from guilt is life changing and this can only be achieved through Jesus.
We can impact the world. The world’s problem is guilt. We can carry the promise, the mercy, the compassion of God to the world by being Jesus in the world and enabling others to meet with and know Him for themselves.
New are His mercies every morning. No one has to spend a single day in guilt.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
God forgives, He does not judge. Jesus has brought us freedom from all guilt.
The illustration shows Jesus as the spectrum, Light of the world. The prism as the Trinity, Father Son and Holy Spirit. The world with Light known in it that pushes back the darkness.
