BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 361 ( Less is Greater, Greater is less

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

Jesus conquers our hearts by melting our will and love of the temporal, the world .

“You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

When we are exclusively attracted to give our attention to the Lord we then receive from His fullness.

“Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”?”

Only then do we progress from our sense of emptiness.

In the pouring out of our heart in prayer we empty ourselves of ourselves and give up ourselves to ascend to Him.

Everything is inferior to Him. Nothing compares to Him. Everything depends on God occupying the chief place in our heart and thus we bow down and worship.

“Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”

When we let go and become bankrupt we can receive the sevenfold bliss of His Spirit within. We become the cup to hold Him. The Lord is our portion.

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.”

We have access to know in our being and heart our pathway of joy, our purpose.

We can’t fully search ourselves but He has 7 eyes and full sight to see us as we are and direct us in ways that we don’t even know of ourselves the prayers that He can place within us and then take from the bowl and petition and intercede.

“And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!”

All else must fade away for Him to become our life supply. Jesus become our first love again and sought after in desperation.

Where your treasure is that is where your heart is also.

The illustration shows us in prayer drawing near in faith drinking the blood shed for the forgiveness of sins and becoming the cup, the vessel that holds that forgiveness and righteousness to the extent of what the heart has emptied of itself. The power of the Spirit of Christ becoming light that takes away the darkness.
