“Not my will but Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”
God clearly prophesies in the OT. that His son would be born to have authority and to govern on earth.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. “
In the NT. Jesus says twice in Matthew that He passes on His authority to us.
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
In Revelation it clearly says the bride makes herself ready. We have our specific part to play. God moves with order, structure, with specific line upon line and precept upon precept and yet many of us can be averse to change. We can become earth tied with seasons, words, giftings which can easily now be in the past.
It is imperative that we know which ties to release and which to hold on to and to align only with what God is doing in this season. He is in the here and now birthing new in our spirit to receive and drawing lines in the sand for some of what went before.
If we feel there is no anointing upon something now which there was previously it may be a sign to break lose from its tie. Some things remain through seasons and generations, some things are conditional and have a duration. God gives permission to abandon and not continue to partner with some things whist we can still celebrate their time and season but have discernment to not harbour what has past especially if it has become an idol. God provided a bronze snake for the Israelites to look upon for encouragement of His provision until after a time they began to wrongly use it as an idol at which point it needed to be smashed down.
We are called sometimes too to exchange the old for new or cast our burden upon Jesus if that change seems too great. We are His living stones flexible to fit together closely.
“you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood.”
We are His precious gem stones faceted and cut for beauty and His delight.
“The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.”
A vision of a building that embodied traditional, modern, ancient and contemporary which stood fresh and welcoming glistening and shining almost crystal jewelled and symbolic of encompassing all that was diverse and being inclusive.
The above was a vivid dream of mine in February of this year.
I was taken there by my father but I believe symbolic of my Father God and was disappointed that it was not yet open as I had an Intense desire to go in as it felt so perfect.
We viewed it from the vehicle outside, set in its idyllic new and yet established surroundings but never got out the car had to leave with a sense of hope to return when it was ready and open to get inside.
Although I recorded and even drew this visionary dream I have not thought on it again until writing this blog.
We are the treasures of God individually formed to be used specifically in His body and governance.
We do not have to know the answers we just have to keep moving with and be His appointment for whatever and not disappointed if that changes..
Get alongside and happy with unresolved and unanswered and be satisfied that our King Jesus understands and we don’t have to. Jesus is our centre. The wisdom of God is revealed through us on earth even in our unknowing!
The illustration shows us as the precious gem stones crafted by God to create the foundations of the temple of living stones as the body of Christ. His light emanating from each pushing back the darkness.
