“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
There is a newness, freshness, malleableness always developing from good to better about God.
God does not build backwards. He always builds forwards. The picture He creates needs reframing daily otherwise it becomes constricted, containerised, held back from where it is moving on to.
We find ourselves in need of repenting for our lack of heeding and instead adhering ourselves to yesterday’s spot and becoming hardened and more brittle in it to the point of being unable to either bend or flow on.
We all have and carry a precious uniqueness that has its special place and arena of influence each day of our lives.
Our wholeness has come from God and how teachable we have been in the experiences of our journey.
We each carry truth in a different way and therefore we are equally important. No one needs to be a carbon copy of another. We never need to loose the authenticity of who we are.
We progress forwards for bigger never backwards to smaller. Not everything has been discovered.
We are not repeating over and again because we are within cycles of revelation that changes and influences us. We spiritually keep coming alive in our unique dynamic discovery as we move on with God.
The angelic praise of “holy, holy, holy, “ is worship for an ever moving revelation of creation rolling on into eternity.
Sadly some of our greatest victories can become our worst enemies because we keep referencing back to them instead of giving thanks and moving on forwards from them.
We must continually second look and see where God is leading us on from that success.
Sometimes our becoming overwhelmed in our experience and maturity deceives us into relying on that instead of the continuous fresh encounter of God with us.
Yesterday has died, Today is life, Tomorrow is to be birthed.
Our need to push death away and draw life in is a constant task in hand.
There is a special purity in knowing nothing because we then know He is everything and we authentically put our whole trust in Him and stay alive in Him.
There is danger in the place of thinking we have got it all. That is the danger of pushing God away and saying “no” instead of “yes.”
“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine;”
We enter the doorway of Jesus’ heart by yielding to Him. He is everything to us instead of ourselves being everything.
Settling for anything less is crippling, the enemy has chance to make headway and take ground.
We are pioneers now more than ever. Going where no one has gone before and in need of boldness driven by truth not anxiety, worry or fear. Going with a mindset that it will not be us but God who breaks through.
“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
The enemy is insidious in gaining ground in-perceivable compromising us to settle for small. Blinding us to his ploy by making us partner with him to become half blind to his real motive.
“On this condition I will make a treaty with you, that I gouge out all your right eyes,“
We have allowed society, cultures, governments and others to influence our response instead of the plum line of truth in God’s kingdom.
It is time to examine the layers we have covered the foundational truths of God with. The second look may expose or reveal errors of judgement or directions we have taken.
We may see the blind spots that we have wrestled with in crisis that have skewed our values. Be ready to transform some areas we have smudged through as if in a mire with chained ankles.
Decisions we made with our first glance may have been ones viewed with partial sight. Elijah knew God was changing a season and God urged him to look 7 times before he saw with clarity.
“There is nothing.” And he said, “Go again,” seven times. And at the seventh time he said, “Behold, a little cloud like a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”
When we reposition ourselves and second look we may find a truer perspective than we held earlier that clarifies how we spring into action with sudden urgency.
The illustration shows us looking through the lens of God to see a fresh clarity illuminated with the light of Christ which pushes back the darkness
