“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
It is all together that we have strength to go forward. Holding hands and leaving no one behind.
If it is a place God is calling us into it is the safest place to be even if in the natural it may not feel so.
Partnering up with heaven is not an individualistic action . It is our ‘yes’ and we leave no one behind.
We champion heavens agenda not the secular or humanistic.
Then we do not get locked in by boundaries. The challenge is for us to recall that the battle has already been won we can share in that victory. We already have our inheritance.
“I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
If God calls us to step into the water we have to do it by faith to discover the miracle that enables us to proceed.
‘When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’” And when the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from flowing, and the waters coming down from above shall stand in one heap.”
Just to stand but in God’s armour is sufficient to succeed.“Stand therefore,”
To dive under the waves there is peace, the roar subsides as we no longer hear or see. If there is turbulence standing with flexibility, going with the moves offering least resistance brings peace to the chaos.
Holding firmly on to Jesus whilst all else spins is the safe place until order is brought to chaos.
“Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,”
In the natural we may be saying I want to remain where I am. It requires faith to submit with our “yes” to lean into the resistance without getting swept off our feet.
It is only possible with eyes dead locked upon Jesus. Total focus and discernment of His will. To come into His comfort by endurance and perseverance.
To be securely with Him not by rebuilding or renewal but by aligning and pressing forward into new as a mature church.
Aligning our body to meet with the speed we are travelling without feeling the smack of the impact as we go.
To champion heavens agenda. To host God’s peace and joy. To partner with the kingdom of heaven here on earth.
The illustration shows feet ready to stand firm, ready to step in to partner with heaven. Obeying God’s call in faith to be in the safe place where light pushes back the darkness,
Five Scriptures that come to mind:
“I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.””Psalm 2:7-9 ESV
“And as for you, command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, ‘When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’” And when the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from flowing, and the waters coming down from above shall stand in one heap.””Joshua 3:8, 13 ESV
