“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Don’t look back with a longing for familiarity of what was unless it is to give thanks for it in your journey.
“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.”
Celebrate it but allow Him now to release faith in us for the future.
“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.”
Now is a transition and as we come to Him He says.
“I am the future”
We are not asking Him for prophesy of what will be. We are not asking Him for revival as has been previously. We are asking for Him. He is birthing the new.
Don’t look back, ‘re’ is out of our vocabulary as it automatically connects us with the past.
Treat all as ‘new’ built from a future blue print springing forth into being from Wells that are from within us and overflowing with God’s glory as the waters cover the sea.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
We are sheep and we know His voice.
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
We are first and foremost children of God and we are more aware of this precious relationship than ever and of our total dependency on Him.
We walk now where we have not walked before and need to keep our eyes fixed on Him, our ears tuned to His voice and pressing into Him closely for guidance.
There has been no previous model to follow. No previous expert to advise us . Scriptural revelation has remained hidden. No previous experience to fall back upon.
Now requires a high level of trust and dependency for our every step as a child has of its parent. The words we receive are ‘now ‘ words. This is a transition time.
Revelation is received from heart to heart in our closeness. As we gaze into His eyes with passionate focus on Him alone. He says “Come to me”.
Revival will not fall upon us collectively but in each one of us stemming from the core of us and bringing life to our very bones.
Fire is lighting and arising in each of us as glory is awakening and igniting and becoming the catalyst amongst others.
Everything we have fed upon grows and matures within us. The weeping of the night becomes the joy of the morning.
“My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away, for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. “
The new comes never to be lost again. The place and time CS.Lewis captured so prophetically in Narnia.
The illustration shows Jesus the shepherd guiding and taking us on into the new. His light being the way and emanating from and through us emblazoning the future. Light eliminating and pushing back the darkness.

The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away. O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the crannies of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”Song of Solomon 2:10-14 ESV
