“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.”
Now more than ever it is important to live out Christ’s victory.
We have inadvertently been guilty of giving the enemy permission by trying to blend in with the world and its ways.
It is time to renew our mindset of boundaries and what is right and wrong therefore permissible in our space as a Christian living out Christ’s values in His kingdom.
The enemy is fearful of the Calendar and the remnant marching towards him and the evidence of what we see speeding up in counterattack in the planet is evidenced in multiple wars, disasters, famines, false prophets, false messiahs.
God by contrast is inviting our maturity, revealing Himself and steering our understanding of this warfare.
We are encouraged to live the lives that are not compromised but a clear statement of a superior kingdom. We can shift atmospheres, territories and hearts and advance.
Our own bit that motivates us to pray with conviction and authority awakens that warrior spirit in us.
It may be for our family, our passion for equality and provision, our determination to make a difference or not give in to pressure. Corporately there is power and we become the victory enforcers in our circle.
“Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Our mindset must terminate being insecure in ourselves. Being at war with ourselves makes us self focused.
We rule and reign when we cease to try to please and live up to human standards and instead, unapologetically, live Jesus’ standards.
We allow and permit seeds sown by the enemy to grow and become established if we buy into insecurity, fear and shame. We forgo our opportunity to enhance the kingdom if we do not tabernacle Jesus’ power and victory.
“For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.”
We have to take on the responsibility and live in a place of power and love. Always obedient to Christ. Not waring against flesh and blood but principalities.
“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”
It is important that we are not self sabotaging in any shape or form. We are not victims, the Lord has made our way of escape. We persevere, endure, take every negative thought captive do not limit ourselves but be self disciplined.
We are meant to be different, set apart, not camouflaged and blending in. We need boldness and conviction in God’s call.
By appearing identical to the world we become powerless and ineffective.
We must not fear standing out. The kingdom life is a superior force.
A City on a hill cannot easily be hidden it needs to be visible and pulsating life.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
We are meant to rock the boat. We can give ourselves permission , introvert or extrovert to be Kingdom bold in confidence in Christ. Christ was his own self in God regardless of his humanity.
We are wired as being in His image and must resist any temptation to run and hide in ourselves to become our own enemy.
We can submit our personality to God.Forget any other label than that we are in the image of God. We have the victory. The foe is vanquished.
The illustration shows Christ’s victory of the cross and His image in ours and ours in His. Light emanating and illuminating In the world pushing back the darkness.
