BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 440 ( Less is Greater,Greater is less .

“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.”

It is part of our nature living in the world to have many desires. Scripturally it suggests that if we have focus on too much we run the risk of not accomplishing or acquiring any. We are hooked up into business and become less stable in the one root.

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

This multi minded instead of singular focus so easily resorts to instability, to self fulfilling and not to complete surrender. There is a security attached to becoming too fragmentally busy and having multiple desires met.

It becomes a sin to have misdirected desires because the truth limits us to seeking one desire. Seeking The Lord’s wisdom in all things. We busy ourselves preoccupied on too full lives and omit leaving the space for Him.

“Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.”

Jesus confronted His followers with an uncomfortable question asking why they followed and sought Him out. Suggesting that many had other things on their minds like being physically fed by His miracles of multiplying food rather than following Him because He was their total focus and fulfilled their spiritual need.

“Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.”

What Jesus offers is more than what meets our physical desires, more than money can buy as signs and wonders it is the spiritual fulfilment of really just knowing Him.

“Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money, saying, “Give me this power also, so that anyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

Just as the Holy Spirit is mobile, fluid, changing so is the revelation of His truth and it is only by being fully focussed and not occupied by other desires that we really keep up with the truth. Without this focused determination we get entrenched and encased in our beliefs instead of expanding and rubbing out the boundary lines from past revelation. We cannot catch and coral the truth of the Holy Spirit we have therefore to surrender and truly advance in the kingdom.

We should always be those who are serving their Master not being served by the Master.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Truth belongs to God and we cannot get territorial we have to follow it where it leads us because we are in His image and have to keep grasping, stepping out further and beyond relinquishing our desires to be receptive and receive His will for us.

We are one as the Trinity is one, with the Godhead.

“for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”

The illustration shows the total focus upon the ever changing motion of the Holy Spirit as breathe from nostrils as word from mouth as hand of Christ raised, as Spirit in the fleeting elusive wing of the dove and clouds passing by capturing the light of revelation emanating to push back the darkness.
