“As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.”
God is continually generous. He flows and gives as tirelessly as a waterfall into us as we form a pool to receive below and it is His desire that streams flow from us to others. That which empties is continually refilled and is powerfully alive.
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
The selfless act of generosity in preferring the other to the self. This foundational opposes the spirit of darkness. Nothing received is held onto tightly but with open hands to give.
“As it is in heaven let it be on earth.”
What we receive is a resource for us to be a blessing. Always be evermore generous as our Father is.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
The darkness in the world is the unmelodious ‘me, me, me.’
If we start to look too like the world then it is time for a course correction. In times of chaos, dis-functioning and dis- ease God speaks to bring about order and change.
He calls us to be His voice and not remain silent. We are created to partner with and endorse His heart. Not to tolerate darkness as if we are captive and powerless but to occupy His creative space and utilise the opportunity
“But if they had stood in my council, then they would have proclaimed my words to my people, and they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their deeds.”
We can cooperate to bring His standard. To bring solutions to problems and breakthrough. We can no longer afford to be spectators and observers we have to participate in bringing His Kingdom forwards. Create a standard that lingers and brings security for the future generations.
“Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:”
To bring conviction that God is the great provider, the source of peace and joy.
As reflected Light we are called to steward others into light.
What the world calls a tomb God calls a womb.
We advance in heavens perception and with heavens commentary not that of the foolish controversy in the world.
“As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.”
Echo God’s voice first because it is His voice we listen to.
No one else can bring what God entrusts us to bring to those we are amidst. If we fail we create a vacuum in the kingdom.
The illustration shows opened hands to receive and to give in likeness to God’s generous heart. Emanating light to push back the darkness.
