EAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 448 ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .

“Lord, my heart is meek before you. I don’t consider myself better than others. I’m content to not pursue matters that are over my head— such as your complex mysteries and wonders— that I’m not yet ready to understand. I am humbled and quieted in your presence. Like a contented child who rests on its mother’s lap, I’m your resting child and my soul is content in you.”

This is a season of acceleration and momentum and what we cling on to in our lives and minds from the past will hold us back and keep us static.

Even in the Exodus a journey what in the natural could have been completed in about eleven days took forty years circulating because the children of God could not let go of their mindset of Egypt.

We are required to make way and release ready to receive what God has .

We are in a time of just letting go of all clutter that holds us back.

Don’t go by what the world says and what the past has been but by what the Spirit says now.

Easier said than done some times! It is easier for us to jettison the troubles, the stress, the emotional baggage far harder to let go what our successes and precious passions have been!

There are some things we have comfort clinging on to that we have nurtured but ultimately how much do we trust God?

What God breathed upon in the past may now be designated to something or someone else in His plan for the future or may have had its day in the sight of what new is to come.

Our surrender to rest in Him. If called to step into the fire to do so fully not just to dip our big toe in.

“Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakable will remain. Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!”

Jesus is the prize and He alone has already paid the price for us. We owe Him everything not asking for further return or any other security we might falsely be thinking is in our luggage as we board this plane of revival in our future.

It’s like being detained, searched and stripped of our most personal belongings. Do we trust as a child and just hold onto our Father and know Him to be all we will require.

We don’t have to know it all and understand but trust in the humility of forfeiting all responsibility knowing the total comfort and peace of who we reside with.

Totally countercultural and world, we don’t need to know all or be the fixers of anything or be running headless. Just feet firmly planted in shoes Jesus provides.

“Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.”

In Jesus’ life we observe how He had no luggage and how He remained in a place of total intimacy with His Father for provision and direction.

He walked with Him in the world in the same way as if He were in Heaven as men were meant to do in the Garden of Eden. The way God wills Himself to be with us.

“And I heard a thunderous voice from the throne, saying: “Look! God’s tabernacle is with human beings. And from now on he will tabernacle with them as their God. Now God himself will have his home with them— ‘God-with-them’ will be their God!”

Where are we putting our security is it in our successes, relationships, positions and what we’ve aspired to?

Or is it like that of a child in its mother’s arms who knows the truth that it is loved and does not have to do anything other than receive.

“The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.”

The illustration shows us in the child like trust of knowing we are loved and all our needs are provided for.The light emanating from that truth pushing back the darkness.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

“Lord, my heart is meek before you. I don’t consider myself better than others. I’m content to not pursue matters that are over my head— such as your complex mysteries and wonders— that I’m not yet ready to understand. I am humbled and quieted in your presence. Like a contented child who rests on its mother’s lap, I’m your resting child and my soul is content in you.”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭131:1-2‬ ‭TPT‬‬
