Only God knows in time what will be and when but we know that nothing takes Him by surprise and that He already has the solution to every problem that will arise.
He is always doing something so much bigger than our small minds can conceive. He alone knows the big picture and every discovery that will be made and every link and connection that permeates through it.
His light reveals and illuminates and it will shine through in the midst of any darkness.
We get the sense that now is a time of expectation of what is enormous. Also a sense of choice and a separation.
Just as when Abram and Lot parted ways as their herds grew.
Abram allowed Lot to make the choice and he did so based on out for self and a perception of having the better option of the two and when he then came up against corruption of sinful men and it was his downfall.
God bestowed everything left to Abram and a promise of prosperity, multiplication and blessing.
“The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever. I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if one can count the dust of the earth, your offspring also can be counted.”
This exemplified his reward for respect, faithfulness and being aligned to God instead of Lots disrespect of his father’s age and position.
All to say it matters how we align with God. We prosper when we submit and there is potential for all to go down hill when we don’t until we return.
Where God leads us brings breakthrough and blessing. Opposing is the potential to shrivel and die.
Everything God promises He will fulfil.
Also there is a sense of Christ’s hand upon hearts softening them.
Each heart He holds tenderly in love but broods over it to melt it into a oneness in shape with His own .
Like a surgeon at work His scalpel cuts away that which cannot be made one. Only in purity can we corporately be knit together into one body.
The memory muscle that man has made and which protectively encapsulates is removed to re-expose the Spirit made soft, gentle, compassionate love.
“that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
The illustration shows the perfect procedure under the scalpel of the Lord to prepare the heart for the season. The light emanating to push back the darkness.
